Celebrated friends wedding during 2 days, Beautiful surroundings, excellent food and service. The covered area where the wedding ceremony took place was covered in local flowers. There is a long corridor covered in grape vines where the bride and groom walked through as we threw rose petals. A
stunning sight. Huge area of white columns and a lovely swimming pool, where there was a BBQ the following day after the wedding.

We got married here in August: I am originally from the area [from Sava], my wife is British.
We planned the wedding for more than year, and discuss all the different issues with the venue director and the wedding planner. They were always great, and incredibly helpful.
Although a bit worried about possible transport issues [it is a typical Italian wedding venue, so no room for guests -apart from groom&bride], we managed to sort out everything. It was not easy [170guests, roughly half of them came from outside Puglia], but the result was spectacular, and well worth all the work done during the year before.
Food was great, and we did also manage to eat at the venue before the wedding at least twice [the first time with my future in-laws, who were really impressed, and could not agree more with the choice we made]. Food was superb on the wedding day, of course, and our guests could not stop thinking what a great idea was to get married there, and how exquisite was our food choice for the menu.
We did get married late August, so still quite hot, so we opted for an afternoon service, and a night reception: the venue at night looks absolutely stunning, and we would probably recommend a night reception, to capture the best of the atmosphere the venue can offer].
Campomarino is close by, only 5km, so plenty of rooms, hotels and B&B along the coast, for all the guests.
Price of the venue is also very reasonable.
We would highly recommend this venue, and we always think we could not have made a better choice: we carry with us lovely, unforgettable moments of our wonderful and unique wedding.
PS: for dinner/lunch, reservation is mandatory, as the restaurant is only open if tables have been booked in advance.

This place is very special because of the concept.
There is no menu.
Traditional, local, seasonal dishes are prepared daily. Think fresh!
The waitress explains what dishes are available and you can make your choice/choices.
The Orechietti are amazing, the fava bean chicory dish delicious, ravioli perfect, and so on :-)
Service is efficient & very friendly.
Table wine is good.
Atmosphere is wonderful.
I strongly recommend to not miss a visit to this place! We go everyday for lunch when in Manduria.

Gentilezza e cortesia.
Bravi ragazzi continuate così!

If you want to taste the best meat in the area you can't miss it
Tens of different skewers, top class hamburgers and steaks of podolica (ancient typical beef race) carpaccio and homemade fried potatoes for little money
We had a meat dinner for the family (2 + 2) for 27€
But keep in mind this is not a real Restaurant, but a butcher that cooks on the spot. You can eat your food in the middle of the square on the reserved tables. Cold local wine and frozen beers in the attached grocery store.
Forgive the mistakes but that's the result of a couple of pints of Raffo (local beer ;-)
Enjoy

The DIURNO Vizi e Stravizi is a small bijoux (located near the main entrance door to Manduria, Porta S. Angelo), which dispenses moments of pleasure for all seasons and all hours, even for the most demanding palates. <br>First of all, our Coffee (produced by Torrefazione Alessano) and then ice cream and frozen desserts, croissant or snacks salted to our pastry, to be consumed on site or at home. Everything is made artisanally, with care and professionalism, by the family staff where the rigor of the quality of the raw materials and their origin is combined with the result of products that can be remembered. Each of our creations is designed to give you a moment of intense pleasure and relaxation. Each recipe, in fact, is born from a study to create harmony between all aspects: sensory, structural and food of our productions. And every season you will find the right product. We are delighted to try our paths of taste, to us the honor of being able to serve and "spoil" with our "vices and stra-vices".
We had 4 icecreams each combining 2 tastes and they were all very good and diverse. I definitelly recommend them !
