We were shown this place by the guide ( commission ! ) ......no ice, average food and relatively very expensive. More so than the nearby 5 * Mandawa Palace Hotel which has far superior surroundings and facilities.....even the beers were cheaper there ! .........and which is worth a visit in itself.

Excellent menu, restaurant overlooking Mandawa, in the centre of the village. Lovely view at sunset. Worth visiting just for the beautiful mosaics and paintings. The stairs to the restaurant may be a little difficult to navigate for some, however there is a lift I believe.

It’s central and easy to find if you follow the many signs carefully, just off the small square at the west end of the bazaar. There’s a courtyard with no views as well as indoor dining if it’s cold. As other reviewers have noted, though service appears efficient, the food takes forever to come – almost an hour for my small meal, when I was the only person in the place.
When it finally arrived, the food was reasonable but nothing special and my ‘vegetable pulao’ had only peas. It’s not too expensive but not as cheap as it appears, because they add 14% ‘tax’ to the menu prices without warning you. OK to try if you’re in town for a while. If it’s just a night or two, the cheaper Galaxy, just off the same square, is also better.

I wonderful open rooftop place for any time meal.
It was good idea to relax a bit and have fresh beer and Lemon Soda in busy day of our Mandawa Shekhawait visit. Best place to see street life rural life from the restra. Good food but need time to serve since they cook everything fresh, i assume nothing from freez.
A beautiful nice place for dine the center town. The restaurant is part of Paawana Haveli Hotel.

imagine sitting under a palace gazebo with thinly veiled curtains billowing in the warm breeze on a hot day- an ice cold drink arrives- you recline back on the high backed rattan chair sipping your beverage as the call to prayer resonates from a nearby mosque...so relaxing and lovely!

The hotel has a restaurant where besides authentic Rajasthani cuisine you can also enjoy continental fares, which will let you keep in touch with your roots. You can enjoy a candlelight dinner as well. There is also a well stocked bar for the ones fond of Bacchus. The greatest plus is that all our guests are welcomed with garlands in the traditional Rajasthani style. You can enjoy an evening of Rajasthani folk dance, music and puppets as well. Special shows are organized on the request of the guests. Books are available here for the Reading pleasures of the guests.

Restaurant run with a passion,Serving best of local Rajasthani, contemporary Indian and Chinese Food. Our passion is to serve freshly cooked food at a reasonable price. The essence of a good meal is not only in the taste but also in the love with which it is prepared and served. We serve both Veg.& Non Veg.food..
The staff is delightful. The food tastes like you were personally invited to dinner. And the experience was one of the warmest you could expect on a winter night.
Vipin, the manager and host went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Madanji the cook is a soft spoken man whose skill is underestimated. Don't miss this place if you're in town.
