In Mancora, it’s all about the beach. Calm Pocitas Beach is a great place to soak up some sun, float serenely in a natural swimming pool or simply stroll the beautiful shoreline. Vichayito Beach is great for diving and kitesurfing, while the South Beach bustles with vendors, surfers and rowdy tourists. Book a guided adventure tour to visit nearby waterfalls and mud baths, or book a motorbike or horseback ride to explore the beaches and back roads.

American styled breakfast and lunch with an oceanfront view of the Surfing point in Mancora.
During our week long stay in Mancora, we pretty much moved in here. The breakfast were simply unbelievable value for money, as the eggs were delicious and fully packed, and a side order was included. We always went for the fruit salad, which sounds simple but easily the best i've ever eaten! The freshly made juices were also unreal. Really don't have enough good things to say about this place.

One of the best chocolate pies I ever ate (although you get a small portion) and good cappuccino for Peruvian standards. They have a wide range of many delicious pies and cakes (I do also recommend the brownie) as well as an all day cocktail happy hour, nice waffles and good food for dinner. One of my favorite places in Mancora!

After a few disapointing pizzas in Cusco we were craving for a good pizza. Found it here! We shared 3 mediana pizza: Hawaiiana, Tuna and a meat pizza (forgot the name): delicious! Especially the tuna pizza. Fresh tuna, lots of other ingredients. A true gem! Its a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. Go.

Pleasant beach-side setting and helpful staff including owner/chef who speaks excellent English. Sensibly-priced beers and freshly-squeezed orange juice was excellent. As other reviewers have noted there is excellent fish and I had a very good tuna soltado. The only negative is that their wine prices are not so good value, being more pricey than our own up-market hotel. BBQ pork ribs all day Saturday is a plus for carnivores tiring of fish and nearby hammocks provide a restful conclusion to an over-indulgent lunch!

We had the ribs to share, massive portions, very tasty. Staff friendly and very helpful. Not expensive, good value for money.

Reservations here are a must. Helpfully, also takes credit cards. We had a G&T, Bacardi/coke, shared an excellent Sirena salad (huge chunks of medium-rare tuna + wonderful curry/honey salsa), main courses of ravioli with prosciutto and tagliata di manzo (beef), both excellent. Plus two glasses of nice wine. Cost was 230 soles or about £52 for the two of us. Have not had such a tasty meal in a long time. Fusion cooking clearly works!

This restaurant offers the most different pizza dishes we've seen so far on our journey in South America. The pizzas are prepared in a real wood fired oven. Service was very personal and attentive. Restaurant itself is attractively to hang around.

Title says it all. We stoped for the lasagna which was advertised on the menu board as a daily special. We had one vegetarian and one carne. Both were microwaved until flattened and crusted to the plate on which they were served... Not what one expects for 26 soles each.

We had a beautiful meal here on our last night in Mancora. My partner is a big meat eater and really enjoys a steak, this place did not disappoint. The steak was cooked to perfection and came with all the trimmings, all for approximately 10dollars. He said it was the best steak he had ate in a long time. My son had chicken dippers, I had chicken wings with hot sauce and we enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine. The meal and atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were friendly and did a good job. Unfortunately we don't have pictures of our plates as we were too busy enjoying the food, but this is a sign of how much we enjoyed our meal! Highly recommend this restaurant !

The first time we visited Angela's Place was three years ago and in total we visited this restaurant 4 times.
The first time was amazing. A restaurant worthy of a 5 star rating. All the food was prepared fresh and with a homely feel. They still have the exact same menu, yet the quality dropped significantly...
Let us start with what's most important in the end... The food. It is still tasty, but lost that special touch it had before. Mainly because it is now microwaved... A shame, especially for those looking for truly healthy food, which the restaurant gives you the impression that it provides. It used to, at least. It's main quality in the past was that you were confident you were getting a homemade, fresh, organic, healthy, delicious food. Now it's just more or less healthy and tasty... A shame, especially because of the potential it has of being truly one of the best restaurants in Mancora.
Now, we'll move on to the service. It used to be attended by the owner herself and that is when it was special. Truly attentive, friendly service. Now there's a different person working there. A waiter that simply makes you feel like you're wasting his time. He's not rude or anything like that, but just... Indifferent. Besides that, the kitchen staff was extremely slow this time. Not very impressive.
Overall, if you're a vegetarian or looking for a gluten-free menu, it's the right place for you. 3/5 is in our minds almost disastrous... Not because it is a terrible restaurant, quite the contrary... It's because it really doesn't reach the heaps of potential it has...
