Restaurant located in the cultural resort Moli den Sopa in Manacor, composed of several restaurants, outdoor terraces, meeting rooms, shops, craft candle factory and one of the oldest in Mallorca seventeenth century flour mills. International cuisine. Fresh seasonal produce, fresh fish, vegetarian dishes, paella, seafood, etc. It is famous for its 3 types of menu. - Executive menu (3 courses). - House Menu (4 courses) .- Tasting Menu (7 courses)
Moli den Sopa is like a "fly trying to be an elephant" as they pretend to be something they are not. This understaffed restaurant portrays this uncomfortable fancy feeling in the restaurant and honestly does a horrible job of delivering that. From unnecessary rude comments...MoreWe are very disappointed to know that you have found our service below your expectations. We would like to know more about it. Please send us an email with a phone number so our Manager can solve your problems personally. Many thanks!

A 7-course tasting menu -with at least two dishes being extremely good-, great old school polite service, a contemporary decor in a charming older building, cleanliness and a care for a good overall experience, a modern twist onto culinary creations, lunch vouchers accepted... and all of that for 35 euros per head!!!
One of the best surprises I have had on the island recently,

Nice restaurant downtown Manacor. Easygoing atmosphere, virtually no tourists. Food was ordinary, the pescado fish lasagna was mediocre, while the Sa Fonda salad wasn't the freshest with canned olives and pineapples - too bad since the island offers an incredible selection of fresh produce... Nice service. Indoors and outdoors tables available. Prices ok.

indian restaurant Manacor mallorca
La India is the only Indian restaurant we visited during our holiday in Mallorca so I can't compare it to any others but the food we had was excellent. I've seen some people complain about the size of the portions but personally I thought they were big enough. We ordered the chicken tikka, onion bhadjee, bombay potatoes, saag aloo, chicken madras, chicken jalfrezi , garlic naan and kheema naan. All the food tasted very good but I did have some doubts as to the freshness of the kheema naan. If you like your Indian food to be spicy you might want to stress it to the staff as I specifically asked the chicken madras to be made spicy but it really wasn't. Other than this we had no complaints. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening!

Stopped off for a rest and for lunch at Bar Mingo. A good sign was that many of our fellow diners were local and of all ages, and a group of men were enjoying a game of cards and a beer in the corner. It was busy but the staff worked hard and service was efficient and good. The food was simple and delicious, and good value for money. Don't go there if you're in a hurry to eat and go, but do go and relax, drink up the atmosphere and appreciate the air conditioning, the lunches or tapas, and a good range of drinks.

This is mallorcan cooking at its best in a farmhouse etting.
If you visit this place you must be there at lunchtime or after 630pm (until c.9pm) when the 3 course menu starts (inc 1/2 bottle of nice wine and also water). Its 16Euros. We had this and the food was good but I would not return as I question the hygiene of this place when I saw the chef drop a burger bun on the floor and when he thought i wasn't looking, he put it back in the packet rather than throwing it away. yuk yuk yuk

This is one of those small understated restaurants in a superb location for lunch or dinner with undercover Seating and outdoor Seating most of which you have a view of the beach or coastline from. We (2 Adults, 2 Children 10&13) visited 3 times in all and enjoyed each the same. The food is cooked with care, served with a smile and priced sensibly. We ordered from the menu side tracking from the €12 special option because 3 of us like to try different things each time. It get's busy here all day but the service never faltered on any occasion. The Cheese Cake with Blueberry is to die for, I asked for it with Cream (con Nata) which is not served by default and it made it even more delicious! The only thing that may put a few people off is the Boss of the restaurant has a big fat cigar hanging in his mouth most of the time and he does work like all those there so he can be seen reorganising things with his ever present Cigar. Quite a character and he has fishing memorabilia on the walls from record breaking catches. If you can ignore the Cigar you will not regret visiting this eatery day or night, a hidden gem as one person accurately described it.

We ate out one night when we got to fed up with our hotel. The food was good and large amounts and very cheap. Would recommend this to anyone as the food was good and so was the service.

The owners (young couple) are extremely enthusiastic about their food, really welcome everyone countering advise where and when needed. Had the Cachopo of Asturian veal filled with Asturian blood pudding, cheese and peppers, which was absolutely perfect, blended flavors throughout, a fantastic lunch dish. With recommended White and Red wines overall the experience is one not to forget. The atmosphere, is quiet, but once full, the place comes to life with great service and discussions on the Spanish region of Asturias, it's food an cultural influence, blends nicely with the restaurant themes. Definitely check this place out, I suspect night time is even better. It's in the centre, nice location, easy parking.
