We are a restaurant with Colombian and international dishes fused with the fruits of the Ecuadorian sea with a capacity for 30 people in a rustic place with outdoor tables something out of the ordinary
We really enjoyed the patacon here. We ordered one with beans and cheese and one with shrimp in a cream sauce. Both were absolutely delicious. If you are looking for some wonderful South American food look no further!

The best spanish, mediterranean and vegetarian food, little money for good quality and mediterranean food. You can choose between seafood, fish, meat or vegetarian meals, even you can enjoy with the traditional tapas or the sandwiches with homemade bread!!You will feel like at home. La mejor comida española a precios económicos. Puedes elegir platos de marisco, pescado, carne, vegetarianos o si quieres disfrutar de las famosas tapas españolas con un vinito o disfrutar de un bocadillo con pan casero.
I always stop by Amalur to get the sandwiches. I order the especial which includes pork, tomato, cheese, caramelized onions, and lettuce served on French bread for 4.50, the price matches up with the size and how filling the Sandwich is. It is a great change from all the Ecuadorian food. Amalur is one of the only places that has survived the earthquake, and one of the only places opened still serving food. The owners are a Spanish couple who are very friendly & keep the place clean.

This is old reliable in food and pricing. You can expect a fantastic meal here at reasonable prices and they never let us down. Have been here several times and always consistent. English menus available to help in selection. There is a large selection from Pizza to seafood to pasta to steaks. Staff are always friendly and fast with delivering food to table so kitchen does a good job as well.
Old reliable did it again.

I now live in Manta part time and would like to review some restaurants here. Las Velas is the best restaurant on the busiest beach here in Manta. I eat there often. The owner is Diana Felipe, cell 5938-302-1932, and the restaurant phone is 5935-262-9396. The chef is Ariel Vazquez, Chef Internacional. I would love to write it up, if you will accept it.
Great place to hang out after swimming at the beach and to eat some local fish. Not very expensive around 40 to 45 for 4 people and one kid. Great place for kids and adults alike. Well recommended

I cannot say that this was the best Italian food I have ever eaten because I live in a city with great Italian food. However, this dining experience was the best I’ve yet had in Ecuador.
The location in a garden is lovely and the owner has taken great care to make the dining experience memorable. She joked and laughed with us all evening.
We had linguine with clams and spaghetti bolognese, a half litre of red wine and tiramisu to finish.
It was a lovely evening!

Bar/Restaurant ambiente tipo relax
The Surf Shak is a dive. A nice dive. The kind of place Hemingway would have downed Mojitos in. At any given time there may be a half dozen local guys lounging at the tables out front availing themselves of the free WIFI.
Big, wooden, bare-bones tables fill the interior. The menu has things like pizzas, sandwiches and the best cheeseburgers I found on my S. American sojourn.
Always easy on the eyes; Kristen, the daughter of the owners was perpetually charming and attentive.
A very good selection of English language books fill a long shelf on the left-hand wall as you come inside.
A good place to hang in the afternoons.

It was the guide of our small group who recommended we stop here for lunch based on the reviews provided by other guides. We were not disappointed. Various fresh seafood options although some were not available on the day we visited. Portions were more than adequate wit most people no able to finish their servings. We found the prices to be reasonable.

Visited Jimmys twice during our visit to the coast...the food was delicious and the place is located oceanfront. Enjoyed a delicious fresh fried whole fish; had the corvina and camotillo. Also shrimp ceviche, shrimp rice with fried plantains and cold beer. Great place to enjoy dining with friends and family! Only a few miles from Olon and Puerto Lopez...

We had lunch here twice during our stay in Canoa and both times were greeted by a friendly staff. The food was excellent and the portions more than generous. The setting is just yards from the beach and the Seating was quite comfortable. Would definitely...MoreThanks for the recommendation,I will seriously think about removing the pool table.

The menu is very diverse allowing almost anyone multiple choices.Three of us were there and we ordered between us..Beef carpacio, vegetarian crepes, seafood crepes and caesar salad and chicken soup. All were exceptionally good..Want steak, Langostino's or chocken dishes..all there..even pasta ..highly recommend and will definitely go back again.
