Really nice dinner-place with a White Guide recommendation (2016). Located in the middle of Malmö, just two minutes walk from hotel Scandic Triangeln.
Surpringsly cheap, only 350:- SEK for a three course meal! (Add 50:- if you prefer meat main course)
Had deer for starter, ribeye for main and crème brulé for desert. All which was wellprepared and tasted excellent. The service was quick and professional. Just enough friendly to make you feel at ease and still not to pushy. We had the waitor choose wine for us at which he did a great job. The other guests seemed to be satisfied too.
Great atmosphere, great food and great service. Can really recommend you give it a try!
Plus for the humane pricing and professional service.. really nothing on the minus..

Visited on a day trip from Copenhagen, specifically for meatballs!
Work up an appetite first though - take a walk around this relatively small city, through its narrow old streets and around the large park - then head to Bullen.
The restaurant looks like a old central London pub - dark, dim lights, ornate artwork but warm and friendly.
Quickly seated and given to menu’s - which we didn’t really need!
We choose the Veal Meatballs - served in a whisky cream sauce, with a side of Loganberry sauce, mash and pickle.
The meatballs are extremely lean, and about the size of a tennis ball each - 5 each. Trust me, this is plenty!!!!
They are simple fantastic.
The service is great, very friendly, welcoming and not at all rushing.
Well worth a visit.

Nice atmosphere in a old building basement. Food was quite average but service is definitely not in line with restaurant image. The place pretends to be a bit elegant and sophisticated, but the service doesn´t match. The waitress who served at our table was too quick, not describing any of the courses and not attentive at all.
The wines way too expensive, even if in line with the Swedish prices.

Good food in great atmosphere. You pay a little bit more than average in Malmö but it's worth the price since it's made with quality and so much local product's as possible. Cosy environment and great staff.

We'd heard about the place and was able to get Reservations. It's laid back, with really good creatively made food (mostly small plates). Service is good. We were just visiting town, but would come back if we lived here!

This is a little out of Malmo - 5 mins in a taxi, but I can only imagine this is why it is not further up the trip adviser reviews as it absolutely deserves to be. The restaurant is pretty with lots of small candles all over. The service is very friendly, helpful and good. The food without exception is VERY good - VERY!
The starters - Goat cheese/shrimp/salmon all delicious and very large portions. The sole and the duck are to die for. We are always too stuffed for desert. Great wine choice too. Love this place - highly recommend.

Bloom in the park

Reviewed By sokriw - Stockholm, Sweden

The greeting was quite interesting as we were not allowed inside, yet served with a glass of Champs outside on the deck. As the weather was good this was a very nice start to the evening by the water.
Seated inside it was very quiet, meaning no music or background sounds at all, only people next to us talking. That for me felt a bit weird, because we all tended to whisper, and it’s a restaurant, not a library.
First course coming out, still interesting and we all tried to figure out the flavours and what was on the plate. Second course it got kind of odd as they did not tell us what was on the plate, and that’s the thing with this restaurant… sometimes they did tell you, but most of the time they didn’t. It got kind of irritating, because we guessed a lot, and we wanted to know, but the servants sometimes told us and most of the times did not, they rather asked us: Or is it? I don’t know, or I won’t tell you, what do you think it was?, and I personally found that to be ridiculous.
This went on for the whole evening, and all of a sudden they asked us if we wanted to go to the Embassy (the owners bar at a very cool place) and they had a driver ready to take us. We did not even get a chance to try the amuse dessert because it was in a hurry, so that left us with a bye bye to the sweets. Will not foresight the Embassy, for you others to experience though.
