Firstly loved the decor, but found the noise levels to be super loud. At times trying to converse with our friends was a challenge.
The service was in my opinion is staged. I had read a number of reviews that differed between don't bother, to amazing. Personally I would say it depends what you are looking for. There was live music but where we sat nearer to the bar, some of the time it was so loud I was unable to differentiate the tune which was a shame. My intention would have been to dance. However, the music goes off early - this could be to do with local by laws. Either way, if you want to dance - eat early and you can enjoy the entertainment.
We chose a variety of starters and mains - most were good. The ones I found to be below standard were a plate of squid that was chewy (overcooked), and a main of a prawn curry which tasted sour and had around an inch and a half of the gravy and a few measly prawns at the bottom of the bowl. Had we not been hosting for our friends it would have gone back to the kitchen.
Having read another review on ordering a gin and tonic with ice and lemon - I had the same experience in that - they took an age after giving me the gin and the tonic to sort out the ice and lemon - they had to be asked twice. For a high end restaurant this should not occur.
Overall we were glad we had tried it but wouldn't jump up and down to go back as the food elsewhere is better in a lot of cases.
In a nutshell style over substance comes to mind

Most South Goa beach bars offer food and drink, with a blind eye towards "health and hygiene". Zeebop, on the other hand, makes the beach bar experience much more tolerable.
First, after every guest leaves, they rake the sand floor underneath the table firm and level. They also wipe all the tables between guests and encourage you not to place bags, rucksacks etc on them as that promotes good hygiene policy.
The toilets are proper toilets. Not a shed up a small flight of steps, with a dodgy hand basin that runs into the sand. And they have Dettol hand wash. Luxury.
Now I've painted the picture, lets talk about the food. Excellent.
We both enjoyed our dishes on clean plates, with clean cutlery. Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken noodles, Naan and Kingfisher beers. And at about 200 rupees more than you'll pay in much less salubrious establishments along the beach. That's about £2.20 in Sterling. Very much worth it.
Staff were very attentive, clearing things away immediately and being very efficient.
The only downside I think, would be that TUI and the like sell "Beach Bar experiences" to their customers and this is their preferred venue. As such, part of the restaurant is roped off as "Reserved", ready for the bus load to appear. If one was to be dining at a time when the hoards appeared, one might be a little peeved. But when we ate, it was peaceful and quiet.

When we left here early December this wonderful Beach Shack was not open for business. Thankfully when we returned to Goa on 12th January, it was up and running
Saturday evening 20th evening we had dinner here with a group of about 40 fellow holidaymakers. Everyone chose their own meal we ordered tiger prawns in garlic sauce and a Kerela kebab, both served with some salad and roast potatoes, really tasty good food.
Despite the number of guests there, no long waits for food, all served up in a timely and orderly fashion, a minor miracle. All of the staff worked incredibly hard, a really great bunch.
It was a real party atmosphere with sparklers and fire works, everyone enjoyed themselves.
During the day this Beach Shack is a bit more lively that it's more sedate sister shack, Lavina's Beach Shack (reviewed seperately)which is just down the beach a bit.
The quality of the food in both shacks is top notch and the service is really good with friendly staff.

Top class, clean fine dining restaurant with live music everyday.
This place has got a great vibe in the evening, with outdoor Seating and nice live music in the background. The food is excellent with a varied menu of both international and indin dishes. Service was excellent as they have many waiters. Recommend the fenni coctails, and great Deserts

I know we were in Goa but for some reason had a need for a pizza. All 4 of us chose different pizzas & I also ordered a portion of wedges & coleslaw, total brits abroad. Though to be honest we all normally eat local cuisine.
The service we received from Roger, his wife Claire & the staff was spot on, as well as fun. More importantly the food was far beyond our expectations & we all needed the remainder of our pizzas parcelling up to take away. Wasn't going to leave it. Speaking to other customers they also had high opinions of the other food offered. Don't judge this place by its look, just go in & order.

We have eaten at Fishka on many occasions and never been disappointed. Service is excellent, choice varied and atmosphere great. This year we had a table booked for Valentine’s night the place was packed. There was a saxophonist playing who was very good and each table was given a red rose. Food was excellent. Highly recommended!

Right on the beach just outside the Park Hyatt hotel, Venus Beach Shack has offered fresh food for many years (at least six that we know of). Friendly, relaxed (slow if you're not on holiday!) service. All cooked fresh. Great selection of fish, lobster and prawns - brought round on a tray so you can select the ones you want. Also biryanis, indian style noodles, chicken tikka, pakoras etc. Really good value tasty food. Highly recommended.

This place really dose live up to it's reputation.... the owner camilo treats all his customers like family and is so helpful giving you general help and advise on any problems that may arise during your holiday.
As far as the beach shack the staff are friendly helpful the food is great and I can recommend the full English for breakfast and the fresh fish for lunch. They are also open for dinner we had Valentine's dinner on the beach watching the sun set ..magical.
