Scalini Fedeli is our go to place for fresh high quality food, impeccable service and traditional ambiance. The menu is quite diverse and chefs are accommodating. The food is just outstanding from seafood, to steaks to pastas. The dining room can get just a bit loud on a Saturday night, but it is a place a celebration and connection. Instead of saving it for a special occasion, I encourage you to give a try just for a nice night out - it really is a good value.

Went to dinner with friends after attending an event at nearby Drew University. MUST have reservations as we got the last table in the bar area when I called on the same day. We went on a Saturday night and they offered 2 seatings - 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm with a minimum food/beverage fee per person. Live Jazz music is offered nightly and we picked a Latin Jazz night and both seatings were sold out. The service was good and as was the food. My only disappointment was the key lime pie we ordered for dessert which was served in 2 dispositional sizes and not plated very appealingly. If you go to the earlier seating as we did it was nice that we did not feel rushed when guest began to arrive for the second seating, but we knew that we needed to prepare to go and we were pretty much ready since the music set had ended and we had already had dessert and coffee and the check was delivered. I will definitely go again.

An independent coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Madison. Bring a friend or a book and enjoy a great cup of coffee.
Always a treat to patronize a local, hometown place that successfully competes with the BIG boys. Drip fills that bill completely. Just look at the clientele: local folks, students, young mom's with strollers. And plenty of regulars. The downtown location is super convenient, and the variety of special pours is very satisfying. All in all, this is the place to go for a good caffeine kick in the pants.

When in the area I stop in, mostly for the pizza (plain) but the is my personal favorite here. Their other foods are good and the service is always good. There tends to be a wait at night but not so long that you should go some where else.

Welcome to New Jersey's Legendary Steak House Rod's Steak & Seafood Grille, an area landmark and winner of New Jersey Monthly's 'Best Steakhouse' award, offers lunch and dinner daily as well as the finest Sunday Brunch in New Jersey. The restaurant's new design, rich wood paneling and highly polished brass, lends a classic elegance to the sophisticated atmosphere. For an intimate and unique experience, dinner aboard the private Parlour Cars is sure to be remembered. Formerly the private domain of the rich and famous, these beautifully refurbished, turn of the century railway cars are exquisitely complimented by the haute cuisine of Rod's esteemed Executive Chef.
Our family gathering of eight went to Rod's for Sunday brunch, and it was an enjoyable experience. The old-school elegance of the room contributes to the feeling of dining in style. The service was excellent, both attentive and friendly. The food offered is several notches above the ordinary brunches available in the area. Included is an omelette station, a carving station, and a very large selection of salads (including seafood) and cheeses of all types. The dessert table with cakes, pastries, and fruit is varied and delicious. At $30 a head, it isn't inexpensive, but neither is it outrageous. We all agreed it is well worth returning.

If you have a craving for something sweet and special, then stop by Crowley’s lovely shop and try one of their delicious cupcakes. I’m sure you will be delighted and satisfied as we were.

"Dinner at this jewel-like restaurant has been described as the "ultimate level of culinary enlightenment" stated the Asbury Park Press. Serenade serves contemporary French cuisine created by the collaborated efforts of James and Nancy Laird. Come visit this beautiful restaurant located in the picturesque town of Chatham, New Jersey."
This has always been one of our favorite restaurants but we had not been here in a while. So, recently for my birthday, I knew it was a must. And we were not disappointed.
There are several lovely rooms and the tables are a comfortable distance apart. The chairs are incredibly comfortable (sadly a rare find in most restaurants!). The service is impeccable with a seasoned mature waitstaff who are very familiar with the menu.
Now for the best part— the meal. My husband started with a crab cake that he said was delicious and I had the creamless autumn soup with water chestnuts, fall veggies and shaved truffles on top- fantastic. My husband chose for his entree a two beef special- a braised rib and flank steak. It was cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. I opted for the roasted lobster with potatoe cakes and fresh veggies in a delicate light cream sauce. Someone came around, twice, offering a variety of fresh rolls which were warm and delicate. We were so full at this point so elected to skip dessert but our server brought over a yummy very berry sorbet with a candle, followed by a small dish of delicate candies. The service was attentive but not smothering.
The food, the service and ambiance can rival any restaurant in NY. In fact, on the way home my husband remarked it was one of the best meals he’s had out in ages.
We won’t make the mistake of waiting so long to return. Plan ahead- difficult to get a reservation on the spur of the moment!

Always a good crowd - even in the middle of winter. Great ice cream selections and the cones?!?! How many different kinds of cones can you have? Well, they have every and any combination you could imagine.
Nice staff and always great for dessert when dining nearby.

A farm to table delicatessen where everything is made from SCRATCH! We use only the most local and fresh ingredients.
The place is really small and has a pretty unique feel for the area. As vegetarians they had good options for us. However, neither of us got actual sandwiches. I got quinoa balls wile my husband got macaroni and cheese. I would go back.

I had read great reviews online about this restaurant and they were correct. MY husband and I shared the meatballs and polenta with sausage appetizers, both of which were superb. The three large meatballs were tender and delicious and the polenta was very enjoyable. The salmon portion was very generous and absolutely delightful. It was served over sauteed veggies with mashed potatoes. My husband raved about the pounded lamb chops which were grilled and served with spinach and potatoes. My only complaint is the cheesecake which was not very tasty. The wait staff and owners are all super friendly and professional. Don't miss this restaurant !
