My son and his family went on a Friday night. There was only a short wait. The food was delicious, both fried and broiled. The service was excellent even though it was very busy.Laurie Good morning and thank for the wonderful review. It does get pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights but as you saw, the line moves quickly. I'm happy that you enjoyed your dinner so much. We hope to see you again soon.

Bakery and Pastries. Breakfast and Lunch cafeteria style Monday through Friday. Breakfast only on Saturday. Chicken salad, Turkey, Ham and Roast Beef sandwiches Monday through Saturday.
I am a traveling OB/GYN (drcathylbagleydotcom) back in Lumberton, NC on assignment who took the recommendation of locals regarding where to go in town for good eats (breakfast/lunch/snacks). I checked out there soon-not-to-be -best kept secret, Cakes and Pastries Unlimited offering me the best cafeteria-styled, down-home luncheon spread I've ever had in the south to date!
And, I haven't even mentioned their cakes and pastries yet! Cakes, pies, stuffed cream, fruit, jelly croissants, bear claws and a variety of other delectable sweets travelers and locals alike flock there to load up on early from early in the morning until closing. There is ample parking and it is spacious and clean located near shopping and close to I-95. The waitstaff's patient, informative and friendly.
Check' em out!

We hopped off I-95 for fuel and stopped at Lumberton Starbucks just to grab coffee before hitting the road again. We rarely visit Starbucks anymore after taking offense to corporate politics, and we noticed that the few stores we do patronize are nearly empty lately, when they used to all be packed wall to wall a year ago.
We like the organic and non-GMO choices Starbucks offers, despite steep prices. Hubby likes his lattes so hot they peel the skin off his tongue, and that's how they're served in Lumberton.
Our only problem was the cashier. When Hubby told her he'd like a tall latte, she didn't understand what he said. I repeated "tall latte." She said okay and rang up a grande. The she asked me what size, and mentioned "medium" as an option. For the third time I repeated "tall latte." She laughed and then, when the light bulb came on, she corrected the price in the register. I checked my card balance to be sure she hadn't charged me for three lattes.
It's a shame about the politics because I used to eat breakfast wraps and muffin sandwiches regularly at Starbucks.

This is the place for fried chicken and barbecue❤️whenever we are in the Carolinas we stop at a Smithfield’s. The quality is excellent. Chicken is juicy and cooked to perfection. Barbecue is North Carolina vinegar based sauces... my husbands favorite. Service is excellent!

Interstate 95 Exit 20
Cracker Barrell's are noted for quick and good service and good home cooked meals. This location certainly provided that. This particular location was extremely busy the day we visited however staff were exceptionally efficient in keeping everything moving. It was apparent they are organized. Also, this location is really clean.

Stopped in for a chicken sandwich, while traveling. Service was awesome, as always. Fast and friendly, just like you’d expect them to be at Chick-Fil-A. Sandwich was great, and so was the cookie!!

We stopped here for lunch on trip from Hilton Head to Lancaster PA. The food was very good and the service was quick and helpful. We had tacos, chimichanga, enchilada and fajitas- all yummy! Also had the guacamole- made fresh at the table - would highly recommend it.

Normally I'd give this 4 stars. But here we were in Lumberton NC. Home to BBQ and fried fish. We went to Adelino's because we didn't want either of this things. It was so STINKIN GOOD. The staff was super nice and very sweet. The building was a cool old brick building. The wine list was small but adequate and very reasonably priced. Don't mess with by the glass just snag a bottle and take the leftover home.
The shrimp bruschetta was a sinful treat. The house salad wasn't anything special but it was fresh and good. The chicken Marsala was HUGE and very tasty. I had the shrimp and scallops over penne. MMMMMMMM!!!!!
I think I was most surprised at the perfection of the pasta! Al dente perfection. Just wonderful.

Lumberton certainly doesn't have an abundance of decent restaurants.
So I came here based on TripAdvisor reviews, and wasn't impressed.
I had the Sushi Deluxe and it was OK, but it didn't give that impression of "fresh".
The restaurant doesn't give you that homey, cozy feeling.
