Welcome to the first DARK RESTAURANT in Poland, a place where everything takes place in complete darkness. We welcome people who seek new experience, are brave and open-minded. There is no menu, we only serve surprises. Dark Resturant to pierwsza restauracja w Polsce, w której potrawy spożywa się w absolutnych ciemnościach. Na dodatek serwujemy wyłącznie kulinarne niespodzianki:) Zapraszamy!
The main reason to go here is the experience of dining in pitch dark and not even being able to see what you eat - or knowing what you eat, they will not tell you until afterwards. You fumble your way around the table, knock over your wine glass and eat with your fingers like a five year old! Really funny! The food itself is however nothing out of the ordinary for a restaurant in this price range - good enough, but nothing special.

This is a small cafe located off the main square in Poznan - full of character and a wonderful place to enjoy a rest from sightseeing. The place specializes in drinking chocolates but also does coffee and tea. Also cakes and paninis. Open daily.
I used to spend massive loads of my time there. It was unique place in Poznan - with genuine hot chocolate and very good Panforte di Siena cake - the only one I've tasted in Central Europe that resembles an Italian original, seriously.
Then the place has changed - I dont know - the owner? Budget? Chocolate is the same, but a bit pricey, cake is the same -
But the interior design has nothing to do with former brilliance and the staff doesn't care anymore. The coziness that's left is only in my memory - the place became an average touristic spot.

I've been coming to Poland for years, and this is perhaps the best meal that I've had since I've been there. They use traditional Polish ingredients that have been updated and modernized in a way that respects tradition but brings it into the present. It is a somewhat understated place in a location that is out of the way and not really close to any major tourist attractions, but it is definitely worth the detour. It was such a pleasure to find such high-quality cooking!

We are the only authentic japanese restaurant in Poznan. We serve variety of japanese style dishes, specializing in RAMEN, SUSHI and WOK dishes.
I ordered a spicy ramen. It was very tasty, but it wasn’t spicy. That’s an indication that they are lowering standards and authenticity because they fear their Polish clientele won’t be able to handle it. The same thing happens in Poznań’s Chinese, Thai, Indian and other restaurants claiming to serve spicy food. It’s always disappointingly too bland.
Get serious, guys. If it says spicy on the menu then it should be spicy in the bowl and in the mouth.
Still, even though it wasn’t spicy, it was tasty. The noodles were just a little too soft - they could have been chewier. With something as simple as ramen, every detail counts.
Oddly enough, there is another ramen bar next door, owned by the same people. I haven’t tried it yet, but I will.
Go to YetzTu. Don’t just compliment them. Push them to get even better than they are.

On a few days trip recently, headed to the Olivio (being one of the places recommended on TripAdvisor), unfortunately needed to book so had to forego on this occasion; before leaving booked for the following night and was able to reserve our table, picked out the best spot, away from the main door entrance. Delightful evening with a wide variety of starters. All good. Had the steak, cooked to my liking. Ordered a bottle of Italian wine, very nice. Our party enjoyed their meals. Worth a visit.
