We stayed here a few days and enjoyed breakfast and the lunch buffet as well. Good ol home cooking. Their pies are quite good!
You can eat overlooking the lake with flowers and geese outside. Great service even if they never seem to smile. Lol
Everything is a bit dated but that adds to the charm. I would stay here again.

The doughnuts are fantastic! I really liked the red velvet one. The pastries filled with meat and eggs are great also, as are all of the menu items. Just a small place, but very nice and very friendly.

One of our favorite places to eat in Louisville!! Market Cafe for dinner and Mary Lou's for breakfast. Market cafe has really good specials every weekend. When our son comes to visit from TN we always take him and his girlfriend to Market Cafe.. You can never go wrong!! ❤️

Had a lunch special (what i got was not what I had thought I ordered but I figured it was my fault and I had ordered the wrong number) Glad I got what I did it was a bit of a different selection than my norm. Tostada was crunchy and well dressed with my favorites, enchilada was very savory and left me wanting to eat few more, the beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, and salsa were all fresh and well executed. Service was great but communication seemed a bit strained as none of the waitstaff spoke very much, if any English.

This is a small place, filled with homemade booths. Very budget conscious in design, but comfortable and serviceable.
The food: The obligatory basket of chips were fried flour tortillas, not the usual corn. That actually works very well. The tea is good.
Taco salad was fresh, with good homemade guacamole. The lunch size fajitas were just right, and the tortillas were fresh and warm.
Overall, very good Mexican food. Also very affordable. Taco salad was $7.50, fajitas $7.99. Total bill for lunch (with tax) was under twenty bucks.
We give this place high marks for the food. Bring your sense of humor for the setting.

I was looking forward to trying this country restaurant but was disappointed. The restaurant was located 3 blocks from my mother in-law's house. Firstly, the restaurant opens at about 6:00 am - 10:00 am each day (they don't serve lunch or dinner and only opens 4 hours each day).
Firstly, when you first enter the restaurant it sort of reminds you of a candy store. In the display case you see rows of Patti Sausages, plan full of country bacon, tray of eggs, tray of ham and frits.
Since they are known for their biscuits I asked for biscuits and gravy along with eggs, Patti Sausage. They told me that it would take 15 minutes to make an order of biscuits and gravy.
I was very happy with my order of biscuits and gravy but the eggs were very greasy and salty (premade eggs that sit in a display case with a warming light).
I eat with two other individuals and they had grits which were also very salty. The dining experience was pretty much ho hum.. dark wood walls with fishing photos.
I would not visit this place again.

Came with my family for what was reputed to be "great" food. It was all that was promised. Started off with fried pickles and fried mushrooms, they were awesome. The batter had a good flavor without being being tough. Had the salad as a side but it could have been a meal. I had the BJs Special (12 oz steak smothered with onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and a wonderful garlic sauce) with a side salad and a baked sweet potato. That had to be the biggest 12oz I ever tried to eat. The steak was perfectly cooked. The brown sugar melted as I sprinkled it on. The wait staff was attentive and very friendly. Overall it was a great experience. Would recommend it to anyone in the area or driving near by. Not far from HWY 25. Make the stop and enjoy the food!

Standard Taco Bell food, clean facility, very friendly employees. The facility is shared with KFC so the menu choices are more than just Mexican food.

Stopped on a Sunday evening, must have been after the local churches had let out, service was slow, seemed to take forever. A couple in line behind me left because it was taking so long to place an order. The food was Wendy's, I knew what to expect. I overheard a customer tell the cashier that it had never taken this long, maybe a crew shortage or just a bad day.
