Traditional French Basque cuisine, and full bar. This restaurant was established since 1890 and continues serving great food in a family style atmosphere, A walk back in time.
Go here very hungry! You can get as many sides as you can eat. Delicious salad, potato salad, soup, bread and butter and Lamb Stew! I ordered the prime rib for my entree which was also really good. The meal comes with a carafe of red house wine. Very casual ambiance, communal tables and 3 tables for 2 people. We arrived when they opened and were able to get a table for 2 away from the communal dining which was nice for us.

Great breakfast place was packed but well worth the wait. The owners came out and talked with us. He explained it was graduation day and that was the reason for the crowd. I would have waited all day for that breakfast. Eddies is famous for their cinnamon rolls.

Nice clean shop. Delicious donuts. Good coffee. Nice friendly staff. I always stop by when in Los Banos for a cup of coffee and some tasty treats. I tried out their 'bran muffin' and it was incredibly delicious just like their donuts. They also have bagel sandwiches for a lunch time meal.

I don't expect chain restaurants to be above average, but I would say that about the Black Bear Diner in Los Banos. We enjoyed delicious meals. The only takeaway was when I ordered a glass of wine. The waitress didn't have a clue about what kind of wine they had, and it was obvious that wine is not a beverage routinely served with dinner. Otherwise, it was such a pleasant experience that we visited another Black Bear Diner in another city a few days later.

Came here on a whim it was hot and we wanted to get out of the sun. Very nice and pleasant staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, and the Italian like atmosphere was wonderful, a little warm inside but the food and service was absolutely marvelous. Will definitely go back when the weather is cool.

We arrived 5.45pm on a Sunday evening and were lucky to get the last order of ribs. They were flavourful and moist- truly delicious. The tri tip was also good. The coleslaw fresh and crisp but the macaroni salad not to our taste Beer and wine available. The whole meal very enjoyable and good old fashioned pop music playing made for a lively atmosphere. A very inexpensive dinner for what we had! Friendly staff too. ..So go for it!

Found it on the way to Phoenix - great little unknown secret
We took a chance and stopped here on a trip to Yosemite. The building is unassuming and part of a roadside strip mall. The restaurant is clean and pleasantly decorated, and the staff/owners are very friendly. Their tortilla soup is some of the best I've had. The El Rodeo tacos are delicious and the burritos are so big we brought half home! We will definitely return!

Wow!!! Now that was a great chicken sandwich...freshly cooked chicken and bacon, fresh lettuce and tomato and toasted sourdough bread with ranch dressing. Will definitely be back again ?
