A friend of mine invited me to lunch. When I met her at Athenas Gyro, my first thought was "oh my goodness, this place looks bad." We ordered our plates at the counter and had a seat. The staff brought out our lunch and all I had to say was "Wow!" The salad was even awesome. The gyro was the best I have ever had. The souvlaki is to die for! Don't let the location fool you. You will not be disappointed.

This recently open spot deserves some recognition for the quality products they are creating on a daily basis. What sets this place apart from your average run-of-the-mill dunlin' donuts or krispy kreme is the fact that their donuts aren't mass-produced, you won't find them running down a conveyor belt by the truck loads, these donuts are made in house, from scratch, by hand, daily! The dough just melts in your mouth, and the flavors/varieties are SO DELICIOUS! They do sell other baked breakfast goodies, but I simply can not get over those donut delicacies! :) The donuts are priced very decently/fairly, so you really can't complain about getting a fantastically delicious donut at an awesome price! They have flavors like the traditional glazed, chocolate glazed, fruit filled, but also more creative flavors like their maple bacon, cookies & cream, and Samoa (like the girl scout cookie!!!). So the only downside...their hours of operation :( They are a little mom & pop shop so they are only open from 7am to 3pm, and that's IF they don't sell out of their scrumptious creations before 3pm, because if they sell out for the day then they close up shop. And on a side note, I've been at their door at 7am and they weren't exactly open, so don't count on it having the lights on and doors open at 7am sharp. And a word of warning, if you plan to try this place out on a Saturday...GO EARLY! Saturday morning seems to be their busiest time of week.

We love Night Owl for their great frozen yogurt, toppings, and the comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Every flavor I have tried here is wonderful, but the Tahitian Vanilla is my favorite. The husband loves their peanut butter sauce...like he asks for the whole bottle every time we go there! lol There are a lot of toppings to choose from and the price is reasonable, in my opinion. Everyone has always been really friendly here. Great place for families and friends alike to get a sweet treat!

Stopped by at 6am for a large sweet tea. Previously, I tried 4 times to get one and they never had any regular iced tea. This time, they got it right!! Drive through attendee was wonderful - very positive and sweet.
Enjoyed the tea, even though $3.00 is too much for iced tea.

Visited three times in the past month. Twice for lunch, once for dinner. All the meals were truly amazing. Some of the best Fettuccine Alfredo I've ever found. Their Eggplant Parmesan is as good as, maybe better than, homemade. Portions are huge. A very welcome, and much needed, restaurant in food-deprived Loganville. We order for lunch from work a few times a month, as well.

This place has great barbecue and you better come hungry. On Wednesday nights, they have a 2 for 1 special.

Dropped by on a Saturday morning for breakfast and had the best breakfast I've had in a long time. The service was flawless and the coffee kept flowing.

If you love shrimp, head to O'shuck's on Highway 78 in Loganville, GA on Tuesday night. Shrimp prepared any way you like 'em for 30 cents each! These aren't the little mealy-mouth, dime size shrimp you get at some chain restaurants. These babies are about quarter size and really fresh! We got 60 buffalo shrimp for $18.00!!! Your mouth is watering about right now, ain't it?

Before you order ask cashier because menu can be a bit deceptive. We ordered the regular Hamburger and Bacon Cheeseburger and they come with 2 meat patties and are quite large. We saw Little Hamburger and Little Bacon Cheeseburger on the menu but thought they were kids size, but little simply means 1 meat patty and for us that would have been enough. Also less expensive. I dropped the stars because both of us experienced the buns falling apart before we even took first bite. We finally ate with knife and fork. The fries are good, a bit oily and again a little flies would have been more than enough. You can choose from lots of topping for your burger. The strawberry shake actually tasted like strawberries! Yum! Cahier was very nice.

Very good southern home cooking! Not only is the food fresh, you get a lot of food and it is very inexpensive. This is a very casual restaurant, so no need to dress in your "Sunday best!" All the employees are very friendly and efficient. Tammy was our server and she was great. My mother-in-law and Aunt were joining me for dinner and they also loved it. We all decided we would definitely be coming back.
If you are looking for some good southern cooking...this is your place!
BON APPETITE!
