Nice clean place. Friendly staff. Pizza was absolutely amazing. Although we did not have the salad my understanding is the homemade dressings are great. My husband has had the lasagna. He said it was OK but he is very very picky concerning his lasagna. They did not serve alcohol but let us bring in our own. Love the place And love the pizza !

So, I place a lot of reviews on travel advisor, I believe in being fair, constant, and consistent in my reviews. I do travel a great deal, and I must say that this place for coffee is by far the best around!! A small little out of the way place that I was oblivious to. I was recently staying at the Holiday Inn Express, and unknown to me was a little "shack" across the way. One day, in my fervor for a "good cup" of coffee I asked the front desk if there was any REAL COFFEE SHOPS. The lady at the desk chuckled and pointed across the street. I stopped in, and gave the barrista the choice to surprise me. All I can say is WOW!!!
Plus, I actually got to meet with Sammy the Bull, the owner. Not the mafia guy, but this guy has the heart . I can say this, I will be back every morning!! Love it here!!

This tea room is located in the Thomas Mercantile store, so you can shop for some cute gift items after you eat lunch. The food was plentiful and very reasonably priced, and each place setting is a unique piece of China with matching tea cup, which made for a pretty table setting. Great sandwiches, quiches and salads.

I really really wanted to like this restaurant but I have to write this review on my experience. My dining companion ordered a chicken fried chicken sandwich and it was massive! It looked amazing too! He is a big guy and couldn't even finish it all so he took home the rest. My choices were not so good of an experience. The jalapeno fritters and more like a popper. It was full of melted cheese on the inside so I could not eat them due to my lactose intolerance. A description of the item on the menu would have diverted the issue but there wasn't one. Next, my onion rings were brought out saturated in grease and cold. I sent them back and asked to have it taken off the bill. Our waitress then brings out a burnt overcooked order of onion rings. It was as if the cook was mocking us for sending the cold ones back. The fries were decent, though, but that is all that I ate there. The restaurant does have a unique motif and fun interior. They appear to run their restaurant as a faith based business considering all the bible verses and items about. That is okay but honestly, I just wanted some good food without all the speedbumps.

Someone recommend the Blue Duck and it did not disappoint. The venue was unique and stepping inside we were instantly greeted and shown to our table. Our server was very attentive and assisted us with the questions we had. The food was not rushed out. It was good fresh cooking.

Went for dinner with friends. Place is laid back, casual. We ordered ribs, fried catfish, chicken fried steak. Portions were large, ribs were tender and tasty, catfish spiced just right and tender, chicken fried steak awesome. Sides are potato salad, greens, beans, fries, coleslaw , salad. Except for the slow service we enjoyed our meal. They do not offer alcoholic beverages but you can bring your own. Their desserts look awesome but we were too full. We will be back!

I don't eat any fish/ seafood but my husband LOVES it so we go. I had chicken strip meal. It's always good esp with Cajun sauces to dip. Fries are small but plentyful. Cole slaw was great. Hubby had full sea full meal frog legs..Crab cake.. shrimp..catfish..fries..hushpuppies.. and coleslaw. Out of the way and rustic but worth the drive.

The service was excellent! Our server Angela and our busboy were friendly and super efficient. As I told the manager, their employee training for kitchen and wait staff must be outstanding since everything obviously runs so smoothly. The chicken flautas were delicious and so was the guacamole.

Got the boiled crawfish and was not disappointed. They were on the spicier side but that is how we like them. Crawfish etouffee was good, hush puppies tasty, fries good. Catfish pieces were small and a bit overbreaded. Service was excellent. We brought our own alcoholic drinks as they do not have them. Prices were moderate. We will return.
