5:30 reservations. Got seated at 6:15. Understandably holiday I get it. Had a Sangria at the bar where service was great.
Finally seated and was then informed our Turkey selection on a fixed menu was white meat only no dark meat left. Having been here twice before on such an occasion one time I got an entire leg. The next second servings. This time around no second servings. Could barely get the server to get us a round of drinks. And when desert came out I substituted my pie for a scoop of ice cream and was Charged for an ala mode? When asked well then I’ll bring the pie home I was told I substituted. Was not going to argue over $3.00 not it’s the point.
When I got home and reviewed my cc charge I was charged three adults. I have two children one 11 and one 12. Yes he 12 looks like he is going on 18 but informed the service of this prior. My fault for not “reading” the entire bill I guess I Focused in the ice cream no pie charge lol. Well the Turkey was like a salt cured ham. Who could mess up veggies and potatoes they were good. But the lack of service. Seeing everyone else get pie and their ice cream and offered coffee which we were not and the lack of a dark meat selection just ended out visits to this establishment and the surprise adult charge. $180 bucks plus the tip and oh forgot the over cooked bacon scalloped wrap shrimp that my son wouldn’t even eat I forgot to mention. This is was one star visit. Our server we do not know but she signed the back of our receipt with and h or c. Older woman who apparently was just going through the motions and basically didn’t give two cents. Would have walked out as soon as we were informed of the lack of selection. But on a holiday evening we decided to go a different route and was very disappointed. Two extra stars added for our previous visit and the bar tenders and hostess who were nice and accommodating as well as the ambience. Other than that take a pass. Sorry.

"D'JEET?" ASKED GRANDPA to everyone who walked through his door in hopes of sharing a homecooked meal, a token of his love. And so, food came to represent family, friends and memories. Our passion is to relish in the delight of providing people with food they can feel good about, cooking traditions passed down from our ancestors to bring you natural, flavorful foods using seasonal and local ingredients.
Our server was amazing, patiently answering all my questions about menu items. And despite their menu saying “substitutions or modifications politely declined,” they seemed willing to accommodate reasonable requests. In the end I chose a special that required no modification LOL. Food was superb, great...MoreThank you so much for the kind review. We truly appreciate you taking the time to write!

The cuisine is delicious! Best salmon with wild rice and sautéed mushrooms that I have ever enjoyed! The butternut squash soup was heavenly! My friend's mushroom soup was amazing! And the blueberry crumb cake dessert was "to die for"! The service and the ambience are impeccable we will definitely return very soon!

The woman in our office absolutely loves their coffee, the New Orleans iced coffee. I love the iced tea and the pasteries. They bring in the pasteries from New York. They have bagel flats but I have had the apple turnovers and the blueberry scones. Fast place and even faster if you text in your order.

Went here for lunch with a friend earlier this month. Very innovative salad combos. Very crowded, but noise level was reasonable. Didn't splurged on desserts on my last visit, but definitely will on my next. You can also buy fresh herbs, and some fresh tomatoes here as well.

Last week we met a friend at The Little Szechuan restaurant for dinner and were again very pleased. My Shrimp with ginger and scallions was excellent and I continue
to marvel at their generous portions: 10-12
large shrimps.....you are lucky to get 5 or 6
In comparable entries at main line restaurants!! My wife thoroughly enjoyed her chicken with broccoli while our friend
relished her Shrimp with garlic sauce. I tasted it and it was delicious!! All in all we were most pleased with our visit. The L S
continues to excellent as it did when reviewed by me about 2 years ago.

Cookies and pastries to die for. It was our first time here, but is won't be our last. Wonderful, wonderful. This certainly didn't help my diet, but I'll do it again.

We had the Fall tasting menu, ordering one of both dishes so we could both have a taste of each dish. All the dishes were beautifully presented and by and large very tasty. (not hugely impressed by the vaunted Pumpkin Soup--it seemed bland.) The ambiance is very pleasant and the staff provided attentive service. Nahum was excellent and even the young lady who swept away the crumbs from the tablecloth was personable. If you want to impress a date or make a loved feel cherished, this is the place to go in the Red Bank area.
