The Scrambled Egg is such a nice spot for breakfast. I especially love that they have the outdoor covered patio. Their coffee is nice and strong, and they offer special and seasonal flavors as well. French Toast, Omlettes, Home Fries, Breakfast Burritos- you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

We both had the day off so stopped in for breakfast before heading to Orlando. We both got the the weekday breakfast with French toast. It was oh so good. And quick! We ordered and it was there in just a few minutes. The place was busy but our meal came out fast. It was her first time at brunchery and I'm sure she will be bringing her husband back! Loved the food and the service! Thanks for a great breakfast!!

Smoking Joe's is a mobile barbecue place that never moves. Real smoked ribs, chicken, and pork. Parked next to Rick's Meat Market, a real butcher shop owned by his brother. So the source of meat is top quality. The best sandwiches anywhere and they are not skimpy. Worth the trip out to the middle of nowhere.

Decided to take the family out for pizza today and stopped by our favorite place... We have been stopping at this place for years.. There are other pizza places closer but they just can't compare to this place... food, service, and prices put Fish Hawk Pizza well above the rest in the area... great prices on cold beer too! A great places to take the kids for birthday parties or just as a family venture... it is rare that I am ever disappointed here.. today was an absolute 5 Star visit... We ordered a large special with extra cheese, black olives, and jalapenos... Wow... Everything was just super!! Kudos to the staff!!✌

I'm that guy who always gives five star reviews because I have a blast every place I go. This place, not so much. It was Friday evening, the place was packed, and everyone seemed to have a need to out-shout everyone else because everyone else was doing the same thing. There was a table of eight girls / young ladies next to us and they were the worst offenders, although things didn't improve much when they finally left. It was simply too loud and the patrons were inconsiderate. My wife and I didn't talk to each other the whole meal because there was no point in trying.
We both ordered iced tea to drink, and it was the worst tea either of us had ever tasted. I sent mine back, my wife simply didn't drink hers. The waitress, when taking mine back, said, "I told you it was bad." Well, maybe she did, but there's no way I would have heard her, nor would I have wanted to hear the first think coming out of her mouth being that the drink I wanted would taste bad.
The food was about a 3, though to be fair I might have moved it to a 4 if the atmosphere were more tolerable. I had a BBQ chicken flatbread, and while it wasn't to die for, it was definitely adequate under the circumstances.
I tried to think back to the days when I want to bars for the drink rather than the food - even then I didn't like a place this loud. I don't think the patrons here were drunk, or even drinking heavily - they were just shouting in a place with bad acoustics. Maybe they're better on a weeknight, but there are far too many good restaurants in Brandon/Valrico for us to take a chance on that.

The food was very fresh and homemade. I will definitely return. The place was busy at dinner which I would expect because it was excellent. The service was wonderful as well.

I just happened to see this place off of Lithia-Pinecrest while heading into Lithia from Valrico. I didn't even know it was there. It was the seafood and oysters sign that got my attention.
I wanted to try the raw oysters, but I got sidetracked when I saw that they also prepare Oysters Rockefeller. We placed an order for a dozen of them. My mother got the sampler (ribs, brisket and sliced pork). I got the fish of the day, which happened to be cobia. It turned out to be a pretty good meal. The oysters were wood grilled as well as the cobia. Both were very good. I would have liked to see a bit more seasoning on the fish. I liked that there was just a hint of smokiness, and that it didn't overpower the taste of the fish. So many places overdo it. The oysters were perfect. We absolutely loved them! The BBQ meat sampler was good. I liked the sliced pork the best. The ribs were pretty average. I say that because there wasn't anything about them that particularly stood out. I've had better ribs in the area. The sides were pretty average as well. I had the sweet potato & green beans. Mom had the baked beans and cole slaw. Everything tasted good. I just didn't get the same wow factor that I got from the oysters. I didn't get to try any of the BBQ sauces. It might have made a difference in the overall taste of the smoked meats. I'll do that next time.
We'll definitely go back to try other menu items. I really want to try the raw oysters, grilled shrimp, and zucchini fries. Actually, there are many other things that I want to try. I also want to say that the service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. The restaurant is clean. The atmosphere was also very nice & country. We liked seeing all the cowboy memorabilia. Mom liked the John Wayne photos. Oh, and there were quite a few people there for dinner on a Friday night. It's definitely on my list of places to go now when I'm in the mood for fresh & tasty oysters.

After viewing the Outback Steakhouse's TV advertising for its Loaded Bloomin' Onion, my wife was drooling. So off we go on date-night to Lithia, FL's location. We were seated in a two person booth, which is larger than regular with their 3 feet of table space. Tyler was friendly, setting the atmosphere and tenor of our having a good time.
Wife ordered the 3-POINT BLOOMIN' ONION with Three Outback Signature favorites together at last. Over a $25 value for just $12.99.*
POINT 1 - Our Famous Bloomin' Onion®
POINT 2 - Aussie Cheese Fries
POINT 3 - Juicy, seasoned Center Cut Sirloin

Yours truly ordered the PORK PORTERHOUSE*
Tender, juicy and prepared over our wood-fire grill served with steamed broccoli and a Signature House Side Salad.
* These items are cooked to order.
The adult beverages were made excellently, while their beer selection was tasty.
You have to leave room for their DOUBLE CHOCOLATE MINI PARFAIT
Layers of rich, creamy filling topped with whipped cream and served in an old-fashioned mini Mason jar. Order one and share it...Yum-Yum!
Now, this was not the first time we have visited an Outback Steakhouse. Previously we signed up for their Rewards Program. I had forgotten to put the app on my smartphone, though. Well, guess what, the manager Melissa was able to make sure our visit was properly recorded, so we enjoyed its benefits.
This is a great place for a romantic date-night. Grab your loved one and have some fun at the Lithia Outback Steakhouse.

Formally home of the Latin Cafe, we enjoyed a mojo pork entree with beans and plantains and a Cuban Sandwich with a cafe con leche. Both were filling and delicious. The counter service was friendly, professional and helpful. Highly recommend for a casual lunch.
