You can have a great variety of Asian food here, specially authentic Chinese food. While keeping lots of traditional recipes, the restaurant also mix and match to create something new and special.
The quality of food here is very high and staff are very friendly. This is a nice place to eat when you visit Lisse or Keukenhof Garden.

It's not always straight forward that small restaurants in small villages are worthwhile to visit but although I work in Amsterdam, and spend a good bit of leisure time there as well, I really like this place. It's cozy (gezellig in Dutch), the staff is always friendly and the food is simply good. Somehow you can have very enjoyable evening here without ever having to worry about the quality of the dishes and the height of the bill, also important!

Went to this Vier Seizoenen restaurant after spending the afternoon around the Tulips fields in surrounding Lisse area. We managed to get a table without prior Reservations. Service was good and friendly. Food was creatively fusion but very delicious. For starters, I had beef carpaccio & my boyfriend had asparagus soup. For main, I had grilled Dorade fish with quinoa & grilled vegetables in mild curry sauce and my boyfriend had linguine with green asparagus, cherry tomatoes and truffles sauce. The accompanying fennel salad was refreshing with the creamy sauces of the dishes. Wines were good too. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this place.

Enjoy our unique authentic and modern cuisine in an atmospheric, cozy and especially friendly atmosphere. Our dishes are carefully prepared in traditional "Sicilian" way. And we only work with fresh ingredients and herbs. In the restaurant there is space for 50 people, and on our beautiful indoor Terrace is Seating for 20 people. In addition to the possibility of lunch, it is possible to book for groups of over 50 people. In addition, we also have an extensive wine list with the finest Italian wines at an affordable price. Ask for our many possibilities, you will be amazed. We would like to see you in our restaurant. Il Mulino
Having read the positive reviews of this restaurant on Tripadvisor, I was looking forward to my dinner visit.
However, I was shocked at the racist treatment we received. Despite the restaurant being pretty empty when we got there, we were showed to a makeshift table right at the back of the restaurant near the toilet and kitchen. The table looked nothing like the other tables and did not have table settings set out.
On asking the waiter why he gave us this table, he said it was the owner's instructions. At this point, we almost walked out but since my son wanted to eat Italian badly, I insisted on another table and they provided us with a normal table. I later asked the owner why they provided us with the makeshift table and he mumbled something around not being aware of it but it was not convincing.
During the dinner, the restaurant continued to be only about half full and I later noticed that the makeshift "table" they had originally shown us was used as a kitchen table where they put food ingredients. Therefore, it was not because the restaurant was full that they put us at that table originally.
I can only conclude that they originally put us at that table because we are East Asians and they were discriminating against us. The food itself was good but the treatment left us feeling very uncomfortable and unable to enjoy our meal.
This is the first time I have experienced racism so overtly at a restaurant despite having travelled extensively all around the world. From the other reviews, it seems that their normal service is good and not what we experienced so we were singled out for "special" treatment.
If you patronize this restaurant, recognize that you are supporting a racist owner who overtly discriminates against customers based on race.

This Michelin-recommended restaurant along the Ringvaart Canal is in a typical Dutch private house style with low ceilings and a rather uncomplicated décor. The cuisine is French/Dutch with occasional, slightly, Oriental influences.
The amuse-bouche including a sip of creamy soup and shrimp cocktail did pleasantly arouse my appetite. The starter with various preparations of mackerel was well above ordinary and fresh. The entremets of quail piccata with green asparagus was equally enjoyable without being stunning. The main dish of salmon and cannelloni filled with spinach was the highlight of the day; simply delicious. The wine (William Fevre Chablis 2012) paired very well with the dishes, enhancing the positive impact. For dessert, the ice cream with raspberries was decorated with white chocolate. Along with a decent cup of espresso it was a worthy closing of this meal.
The service was good and less formal than expected. The bill for two persons came to 120 Euro.
Perfect? No. But the Oude Dykhuys is a genuinely high quality restaurant that I want to visit more often, disregarding my financial constraints.

We ordered two pizzas and a side salad and were pleased with everything. Good wine selection and bonus crostini and bread with dips was also served before our main which were extremely tasty. Service was swift and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

We stopped for lunch after a very pleasant cycle through the countryside. We just had the feeling that it looked friendly and inviting. We were absolutely right! There was only one table available (lucky us) and the place had a lovely buzz about it. It was a little chilly that day so everyone was inside the attractively decorated cafe, with its open kitchen area at the back, but there is a pleasant Seating area outside at the front too.
From arriving to leaving we felt very welcome and service was excellent and extremely friendly. We were hoping for simply a decent lunch at reasonable prices. What we enjoyed was a beautifully prepared lunch, packed with well balanced flavours and good quality ingredients, and still for reasonable prices. My beef salad was delicious and I was surprised at how good the quality of the meat was for this dish. There was no skimping on quality here. My wife enjoyed her very attractively presented Sandwich and accompaniments too.
They seem to have exactly the right balance of ambience, menu, drinks and service for a cafe of this kind - well done!!

I had the chance to stay at Pani e Tulipani just once, o a Wednesday. The restaurant is easy to reach. The atmosphere is cozy, simple, and as Italian I felt at home. The owner welcomed us with a large smile and discretion. The venue is well-decorated and not noisy. We ordered two large starters, with typical Italian ham, cheese, parmigiana, artichokes, olives and a very sophisticated vitel tonné. I then ordered a pasta with pumpkin, which was tasty. We were in 6 and everybody left the restaurant happy. We also had the chance to talk briefly with the chef, who enjoyed explained some of his techniques and choices. Price is reasonable. I look forward to coming back, and I highly recommend it.

We are a small craft-based family restaurant that strives for the pure and sunny taste of the Italian cuisine, in all its simplicity. Almost all of our dishes are cooked the authentic way in our own kitchen. Every day, our dough is kneaded, shaped and baked to pizzas and ciabattas. Kilo's of garlic, basil and pine nuts are ground into a deliciously fresh pesto. From soups, sauces to the tiramisu, all made according to traditional Italian recipe and with great care and the only the best ingredients. Quality and craftsmanship, thats what we stand for. Buon Appetito!
I stopped in for dinner because the aroma outside was so good and I'm glad I did!! I had the tomato soup and a calzone that was to die for!! Excellent service and food! Sylvia served me and was the sweetest! She and another server helped me plan out the rest of my stay in the area. Loved it!
