The lead-mining town of Linares (nestled in olive country) may not look like much but this restaurant is one of the best I've been to in Spain. I've always found it odd that in Spain it's not common to have olive oil on the table with bread (despite Spain having spectacular olive oil). Driving through Jaen, one of the biggest olive growing spots in the whole world, we wanted some good olive oil. Los sentidos has great olive oil, wine, wonderful artisanal bread and very creative dishes. Especially liked the whipped potato, mushroom and egg dish.

This italian restaurant was recommended to us by a taxi driver in
Linares, if |i could find him again I would give him a hug. Myself and my boyfriend asked for adivce as to where to eat in Linares, this was recommended and we followed the instruction. The restaurants decor is modern and inticing. The tapas to start were beautiful. We had pizza for main course and for me it has been the best pizza in europe so far. Thank you!! Highly recommended!!

A new and fresh way of cooking Andalusia. That's the main aim of Canela en Rama. An innovative version of the spanish "taberna" together with a small and cozy restaurant that offers to the costumer reinvented traditional dishes of the area of the province of Jaén. Canela en Rama can be found in prestigious guide books like the Michelin and Repsol Guide. Enjoy and share with us it's warm and comfortable environment.
There is place in Jaen where the senses will get crazy. This restaurant is unbelievable to try Spanish food. You can realize so good the tradition and innovation come to your taste. It is worth visiting place, don't leave this land without visit this restaurant. It won in 2014 the award in Madrid Fusion.

This restaurant doubles as The Bullfighting museum with the walls covered in memorabilia (posters, potos, costumes etc.). There is an excellent range of tapas/raciones available in the bar as well as a separate dining room. The atmosphere and attention from the staff is first class and the venue should feature on any visit to Linares.

Large, generous helpings of local traditional foods. The main focus on pork products and some cheeses. Very good selection of red wines. Sensational salmorejo. Industrial bread, sadly.

If you know how people go to bars in Spain, and specially in south, probably knew that every beer or wine cup you ask for it will give you somthing to eat with. So, this bar has a modern catalogue of tapas that will surprise you in every sense
