Farm Made Ice Cream
Happened across this creamery on the way to the beach and stopped. The ice cream was good, but not great. Other than the shop, and maybe taking a quick look at the cows, there's nothing around. so, it's a quick stop and a continuation to wherever your going. I felt it was a little pricey, but not outrageous.

Sold out of acclaimed cinnamon buns, I bought a few other baked goods to go, and all were decent to very decent. Next time, I'll try the coffee. In December, it seemed to be more of a locals place to drink coffee and read the papers. Wish I had tried the coffee.

I stopped in here one day on my way home from the beach. I wanted to pick up a loaf of Italian Bread to have with dinner. I followed a group of 4 ladies into the shop. One of the workers waited on them. She was giving them her full, undivided and thorough attention. She was trying to sell them all kinds of stuff and really chatting up the products. It was really frustrating since the women were indecisive and this woman just kept making more recommendations.
Meanwhile, I am standing there with my kids waiting...and waiting..and waiting. I just wanted to get a loaf of bread and go. So, I spotted a man and a woman approaching the front counter. I thought for sure they would ask me IF they could help me. NOPE. Instead they chatted with one of the other workers about work related issues. They didn't even acknowledge me. Didn't even bother to ask me IF I had been helped OR let me know someone would be with me soon....nothing.
Now, I stood there for at least a good 10 minutes. I finally got peeved and left. I followed the man and woman, who appeared to be the owners, out of the building. My children asked me why we were leaving & I told them it was because we couldn't get waited on. The woman overheard this conversation, stops, turns, pauses and looks at me...then gets in her car with her husband.
I was so disappointed that I received this kind of service. Their bread was good last time I got it and was really looking forward to having it with my dinner that night, despite it being a little on the pricey side. I just wasn't going to wait all night to get it! It would have been nice IF someone had at least acknowledged me. Some of the worst service I have experienced, although the women in front of me were sure treated well since they were loading up on purchases.

We will be closed for a short winter break Feb 1st through Feb 9th, 2017. We will reopen Feb 10th at 7:00AM.
Visited Nectar for a Sunday breakfast and loved it. The atmosphere was beautiful. It’s farmhouse chic and the fresh flowers throughout provide a lovely scent to the air. I had a spinach lavender omelet. It was very good, though a little more browned than I’d like. The sweet potato hash on the side was delicious as was the multigrain toast. I would definitely recommend this place.

Home for Bob Ciprietti is Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. Growing up there and falling in love with the food, tradition, and people of NY inspired him to bring a little bit of home to Delaware. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware and now has locations in Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City, MD. Each ristorante has a salumeria(deli) and a pasticceria (bakery) in house. Although our dining room opens at 11 AM, the bakery and deli open at 10 AM. We are known for our most popular Chicken Parm, our mozzarella, our crispy bread, our internationally recognized brick oven pizza, our pasta, and our eclairs. It's important to us that when you dine with us you enjoy a true authentic Italian experience with good food, friends, family, and great conversation. Stop by for a glass of wine and some good pasta or some meatballs and bread. Regardless of your choice, you won't be disappointed.
Enjoyed a lovely Friday night dinner at this establishment. Seated promptly and drink orders were taking in a timely manor. Our appetizer of fried calamari was cooked to perfection and the marinara sauce complimented it perfectly. I order the cheese calzone. It was delicious! Full of cheese and the dough was exceptional. My husband ordered a pasta dish that he was pleased with. We ended our meal with an assortment of cookies and a coffee. It was a great ending to a lovely meal.
