Restaurant for 30 years with the same kitchen the same owner; French and Creole cooking based on local products. Service in ventilated and shaded Terrace. Menu and Map Formulas. Open lunch and dinner, daily, weekly closing on Thursdays
As a volcanologist, even if on vacation, the name caught my eye when driving by. We returned some days later and were very pleased. Food was good (fresh fish and fricasse de polpo), the location nice and tranquil. After the meal, the owner joined us for a pleasant chat and even shared a rhum with us. We would definitely go back.

Granted this place has a monopoly in Grande Anse. It's the only business that rents beach chairs and has a restaurant. It's a great location and the food looked nice but they were so unbelievably rude, it was unbelievable. I speak French so I can only imagine how they are with non-French speakers. Warning, if you go, book the table far in advance and the beach chairs and be prepared to wait for everything. Walk a ways down the beach and support more local place where "pantelon chic" is not derigeur.

Had several meals at this lovely place, all of which were well cooked and tasty. The staff are really friendly and went out of their way to accommodate a group of sailors in need of showers and charging our phones! We had coffee, cocktails, nibbles and meals throughout the day all of which were served in the Sunshine and with a smile and most importantly tasted delicious. Situated right on the beach at the end of the pier, this is an ideal calling spot for the many sailors who call into Grande Anse d'Arlet using the free mooring. Look forward to returning.

Le Fruit de la Patience is open for lunch and, though it didn't seem very popular, the food was outstanding.
Our had some delicious fish fritters, grilled chicken and as for myself, it was the best Colombo (fish) I'd had anywhere on the island with huge chunks of veggies mixed in the generous, spicy sauce.
Well worth the price. Delicious!!

Feet in the sand nearby the beach. Very relaxed and pleasant. Don't expect much from the chef who just started- the langouste was overcooked, but the seasoning was correct.

After several tries of restaurants on the Grande Anse, usually disappointing, we made it to Chez Evelyn. Great setting right on the beach, nice selection of very tasty cocktails and food. Ah the food.
Menus range from 15 to 30 euro for accras, a main and either ice cream or coffee. Getting half a langouste of 500 grams plus the other courses for 30 euro is fantastic. They pick it out of the sea then it goes to the grill. We also had a Marlin fillet which was delicious.
Will definitely go again.

Lunch on the beach...small fried and marinated fish, a local speciality...fantastic. I like the no onion, Creole spiced onesThe service was good but it took a while to get our food, but peak season at noon. To be expected. Just have a drink, look at the gorgeous Caribbean water and enjoy the wait. it's worth it.....

Nous avons passé un bon moment en famille dans ce restaurant sur le site des Anses d’Arlet . Le service est certes un peu lent , mais , ici , il faut bien prendre le temps de vivre. La friture de Balaous , avec sauce chien, est très bonne .

Ti Payot is a great lunch time spot right on the beach. Their ti punch and daiquiris are perfection! Their staff is friendly and some spoke very good English to help balance our poor French. Surprisingly, their hamburger is really good and their french fries. We also had the marlin tar tar which was so great with whatever seasoning they use. I loved it!
