Legon, a suburb of the Ghanaian city Accra, is situated about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) north-east of the city center in the Accra Metropolis District, a district in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Legon is home to the main campus of the University of Ghana. Ghanaians loosely refer to the University of Ghana simply as "Legon". Legon is also home to a few of Ghana's well known educational institution like Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School (PRESEC-Legon), Achimota School, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and the institute of professional education. Legon is adjacent to one of the most prestigious residential suburbs of Accra - East Legon and only about 20 minutes drive from the Kotoka International Airport.

It took forever for Tapas Fever to hit Western Africa, but this spot in Afrikiko makes up for all those years. As the city's first Spanish tapas bar, Toro Tapas Bar fills a culinary niche. Quintessentially Spanish, our fresh and exciting menu offers something for everyone. With dishes from the sea, the field and the garden our tapas dishes are sincerely Spanish and our paella's always deliver on flavour.
Family evening outing for anglo/ghanaian group. Restaurant quiet at 730 - only two other couples, our table of seven made it much busier! not many more arrived while we were there. Prompt service with drinks, good range of gins at good prices and reasonable range of mainly Spanish wines - although not very cheap. Ordered rose, not told there wasn't any, just brought along a bottle of red. Accepted it, OK wine. Ordered food - helpful waitress, order completed satisfactorily. Then the wait. Only one other table of two served any food while we waited - perhaps 45 mins. Why? Anyway, when it arrived it proved to be worth the wait....English contingent ordered tapas: good size portions, 3 each is enough for our appetites. Our squid order didn't appear although it was charged; rest of the food really good, well cooked and fresher. Tasty beef in a good sauce; crispy aubergine slices in cheese and honey; lightly battered octopus with a green chilli dip etc. Ghanaians had rice with beef/fish and enjoyed theirs. Would very happily eat here again - not a bargain, but good fresh food - but be prepared to wait.

I've become a regular guest over the past 7 years and I've never been disappointed.
A special place that offers consistently excellent Mediterranean cuisine - I'm loving it each and every time.
Owner is super attentive; service could be improved at times. But not worth noting ... I'll be back ;-)

The Venue is a cozy continental restaurant in the heart of East Legon. Our serene atmosphere is conducive for all dining types and our menu satisfies everyone's taste. come dine with us.
Excellent restaurant, with a wide menu, from seafood platter to pizza. Price in the average, but a good bargan for what you will find on the table. The environment is nice, in pure african style. Service attentive and friendly. Not easy to find, and not close to downtown, but you will not regret travelling to reach the place.

Tripadvisor won't allow a date earlier than Feb 2017. I was there one time during April-May 2016. The sushi is really great but not heavenly if you put the price tag in front. For just eating sushi the place is a bit overdoing.... its like too much for this niche guys. I get it that everything is imported and so on, but hey the quality is still like another place in Accra with much lower prices and faster service.

A small and cosy restaurant serving a buffet consisting of a selection of authentic Ethiopian dishes.
Excellent Ethiopian food in a pleasant cozy atmosphere. However, I would find it even better if there were an alternative to the buffet with an a la carte menu and the possibility of some outdoor Seating.
The service was very friendly and welcoming and although the price is not cheap, it's good value for the quality of the food available.
This is one of my favourite restaurants in Accra and I'll definitely return

We went to the Coco Lounge on a recent week-long holiday to Ghana. This place is really a cut above the standard fare in Accra. The service, food and wine was excellent. The prices are what you would pay in London or any other big city - but it's worth it. We had a wonderful meal and a fantastic bottle of wine. Highly recommended! Just be warned, they have a dress code and they do enforce it. No flip-flops for the chaps.

Urban grill is very trendy & upscale and serves delicious steaks + a good wine list. There are usually interesting fusions with local ingredients appearing in innovative ways on the menu.
On my last visit I discovered a tasty virgin cocktail made with Bissap. The service is usually on point: knowledgeable, friendly waiters who can give great recommendations and hover politely, appearing when you need them. It's not cheap (but what fine dining is in Accra?). I stick to meat (bcos it's a grill!) but their seafood starters are lovely too. A friend complained about her crab, but like I said to her "...Grill" not seafood restaurant, lol. While sitting outside (gorgeous living walls and a spectacular view of the lights of airport city) our waiter was able to get me some mosquito repellant!

To the best of my knowledge, this is the first and only yoghurt bar in Ghana. Its a cute small wooden earthy/ natural looking structure which gives off a great feel. They have the best Parfaits which come with a choice of sauces and granolas they make themselves. They have a great variety of thick yoghurt smoothies amongst other great things. Definitely one of my favourite places in Accra to grab something healthy! Oh and they supply all the major shops with the best and only Greek yoghurt made in Ghana along with other yoghurt variations.

Sister to Burger and Relish Osu. Gourmet Burgers and American Diner food with signature cocktails, DJ's and a very lively atmosphere. The hottest new spot in East legon
Food was okay, service was okay. guess i expected more. Great ambience though and yes i would try it again in the hope that my first day was an off day for them.
