Full service restaurant and bar.
Mercy was our server and she was spot on with keeping our drinks filled and gave great overviews of what to order. We did get the triple fajitas and it was a great value for us.
Mercy was most definitely an excellent server.
Next time we have the tie to visit we will ask for her!

Pros:
*Family friendly. The staff could not be nicer to children.
*Fresh food, made to order
*Interesting menu
*Fantastic mango lassi
*Warm staff
Cons
*The food takes about an hour to come
*The bathroom might be out of order
*The warm staff forgot something in our order both times we were there.
We stopped here on a road trip. We had read reviews that this place had a wait time, so we were quite happy to just relax and enjoy the hospitality. I think if we hadn't known about the time commitment, we might have been more restless. As it was, it was an appreciated break. The food was good, particularly the pizza. I enjoyed the interesting menu. I had one of the curries and was surprised that it wasn't more flavorful. It was good and the vegetables were perfectly cooked, but there wasn't really a punch of flavor.
Overall, we would be back.

This wonderful restaurant is located in everyone’s favorite mall — the Outlets at Tejon. If you’re looking for a step above the typical fast food fare, the Black Bear Diner Arvin is exactly where you should be heading after a day of shopping. We have plenty of tasty food that will satisfy everyone’s appetite. Stop in to say hello and we’ll make sure you leave with a full stomach!
Always awesome. Addicted to the chicken fried steak with the best country gravy. Huge portions too! All the cobblers are yummy too and giant size. Try the little lites size of meals if you don't want leftovers to take with you. Some of the little lites are very large portions too.

In Gorman, your choices are limited & this may be as good as it gets - not sure. Old fashioned establishment with traditional American fare - burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. The food was just OK - not bad, but not great either. A bit bland. Service was below average. Value was pretty good & serving portions were generous, which was good.

On the north side of the Grapevine near the mega-huge IKEA distribution warehouses is one of the busiest Starbucks you'll experience this side of Times Square or the Ginza - but don't despair, the staff here will get you taken care of even if the line goes to the door! Make it a Trenta, and enjoy your experience at a world-class Starbucks that just happens to be - in the middle of, well, nowhere.

We stumbled upon this little gem while driving through Frazier Park. Decor is "interesting," not fancy, but the panini sandwiches we ordered were just excellent. I had the tuna with munster cheese which was extremely tasty and my husband had the Turkey panini with artichoke hearts. We were both extremely satisfied.

Four stars for the good and quick service and 5-star attitude of the manager, Martin Rojo. This Tejon location (about 100 yards from the Tejon Outlets on the east side of highway 5 opened in March. We travel between San Diego and Delano 3-5 times per year. The staff is friendly and helpful, as you would hope.
The positive customer-centered attitude of the manager is exceptional and deserves special praise. If all Starbucks managers were as attentive as Martin, Starbucks' profits would shoot through the roof. I mentioned that I was disappointed that Starbucks corporate had discontinued their one red antioxidants (unadulterated rooibos) tea. Green tea is high in antioxidants, but of a different mix of them.
Martin was appreciative of my comments regarding the health benefits of unadulterated Rooibus tea and assured me that he would pass my comments up the corporate chain of command.

A recent find of ours, missed on many previous trips, Don Perico's Mexican Restaurant is now an "every time" stop when traveling up the Grapevine Hwy up through the Central Valley in California. A fairly large restaurant and bar with a central raised performance stage perfect for large occasions, the food is really authentic and outstandingly good. Portions are very large--you may want to share. Spiceyness is variable, mild to OMG, appropriate to all palates. There are many unique dishes on both the dinner and breakfast menus that have to be tried. Reasonably priced, good service, and walking distance from The Ramada Limited motel, previously reviewedl. A very pretty location and great stopover.

Found the restaurant on a recommendation of hairdresser who resides on the mt. Small cafe that serves diner style meals and sandwiches. Everything at this place screams fresh from rolls, breads, jams etc. Small menu with lots of different choices. I love their pastrami burgers and well worth the 1 1/2 hr trek up the hill to eat there. Can find lots of choices to eat there. Great fries and onion rings.

Had a hunger pang heading over the Tehachipis on I-5 recently, stopped at Gorman to visit the Carl's Jr. there. Ordered my usual fried zucchini's, which were delivered to my booth quickly with the two ranch dressings, as requested. The zucchini was perfectly cooked, al dente with a nice crust, really hit the spot. Good job!
