Boasting Tudor revival architecture, a Bavarian Village style shopping area, an annual Bavarian Christmas celebration and one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations outside of Munich, Leavenworth offers up a little slice of Germany in the center of its spectacular Pacific Northwest landscape. The town boasts many tours, wine tasting rooms and even a museum of nutcrackers from the ancient to the quirky. Nearby Alpine Lakes Wilderness offers adventures in biking, hiking, skiing and more.

When we first started München Haus, we had visions of an outdoor eatery and beer garden where family and friends could meet to experience a taste of Germany in the beautiful Alpine town of Leavenworth. It is with the help of our families and wonderful, dedicated employees that we are able to offer a unique Leavenworth dining experience.
I doubt that I will ever go back to Leavenworth for the Christmas lighting, it was way too crowded to enjoy the town, the shops or the restaurants. After looking around town, we decided that every restaurant had a ridiculous wait and decided to stand in line at the Munchen Haus.
We waited around 45 minutes to order, and then got our food after about another 15. The sausages were very good and inexpensive. They had dozens of mustards to try and special hot drinks for the holidays. Be warned, the eating area although heated, is outside and is a communal table experience.
I felt they did very well considering the overwhelming crowds.

This restaurant is chef owned and a great bustling place to have dinner in Leavenworth. I was highly recommended by our hotel concierge at the Posthotel.
We di not have a reservation (highly recommended) but they got us in. We were seated at a counter and we had a great time, there is a lot going on there but it never feels like it is too much. The food was very good, the portions were great and we can recommend the Watershed as a great place to dine in Leavenworth that is not trying to pretend something else on a different continent.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Leavenworth. They offer a small plate menu that's fun to share. On this visit we had the Margherita pizza, Scallops Picatta and Seafood chowder. All the dishes were prepared wonderfully. The service was excellent and our server Chris was engaging and fun.

We went to Leavenworth intent on eating at Andreas Keller, but when we arrived, we found it was closed due to a basement flood back in November. There was a note saying, in the meantime Mozart’s was serving Bavarian style lunch upstairs. So we gave it a try.
Mozart’s is much quieter and more formal. Their Bavarian lunch options were limited, if the waitress hadn’t mentioned the fondue, we might have left. But the fondue which serves 2-4 saved the day! It was quick, easy and satisfying, everyone was happy. This could be our new winter Leavenworth tradition!

We feature award winning wine selections of both Italian and local wines. Add gourmet Italian cuisine and you have a recipe for a great dining experience!
The staff were friendly, however did not feel authentic/genuine. The wine list is great, however overpriced in my opinion. The meat and cheese boards are basic, and overpriced. We shared the cannelloni which was very poor. No flavour, with a small amount of sauce. Would not return.
The crayons to colour needs to go....

This family-owned business has been bringing Bavaria to Leavenworth for over 25 years. The chef, Anita Hamilton, has been personally overseeing the kitchen since 1991 and is a native of Germany. The made-from-scratch desserts, soups and entrees are reminiscent of traditional Gasthaus fare. The owner, Heidi Forchemer, travels to Germany yearly for new menu ideas. Her son, Max, can be heard playing his button accordion most weekends, along with other local musicians, such as Tom Tilton of the Alpenfolk band. It simply doesn't get more authentic than this!
Good food, good service, and a good accordion player, what more could you ask for? It felt like we were in Germany. We were there during the holidays so lots of holiday music which was fun. If you want good German food, this is a good place to eat.

Rudloofs Pizza und Brats offer premium pizzas loaded with the highest quality toppings. Our Bratwursts and Kielbasas are the biggest in town and grilled to perfection. Our Salads are made with the freshest ingredients. Top it off with a large selection of crafted beer and wine. Rudloofs Pizza und Brats, "das ist gut, Ya!!
We we're tired on our first night in Leavenworth, and hungry! Rudloof's was a great choice because of their delivery service. But... It was late and expected delivery was more than 1 hour. It was close to your hotel (Der Ritterhof Inn), so my husband picked it up instead. Our order was ready as expected (fast) and the food was yummy! I had a salad (huge), hubby had a calzone (the size of mini pizza) and we shared a sliced brats sampler (oh my word). We could not finish our order and sadly had to toss our leftovers. Would order or visit again if in the area! Thanks Rudloof's!

We love crepes but found the ones here at Pavz to be somewhat bland...not very flavourful. Had the Chicken Fiesta Crepe with cheddar cheese, avocado, bell peppers, roasted onion and chicken and also the Spicy Italian Sausage Crepe...and it was spicy. We shared a wedge salad but it was a bit unusual for a wedge salad as we had four small heads of romaine instead of a wedge of iceberg...the balsamic dressing was tasty. Really enjoyed dessert...we had a slice of Lemon Drop Cheesecake...good lemony flavour. At the table across from us they had the apple struedel....it looks delicious. I have to say the service was exceptional...we had Jessica for a waitress and she was so friendly and helpful...kudos to her. Loved the atmosphere....the establishment is in a long narrow building and the seating area was divided in two. There were lots of art work on the walls (all for sale) and it just felt good sitting there for dinner.

Pick one of our Fresh Signature Burgers, or Build Your Own Burger! We also have great sandwiches, soups, and salads. Inside and outside dining. Food to go.
Visited Leavenworth for the big Christmas lighting!! 30,000 people rushing for somewhere to eat dinner after the lights go on... we couldn’t find a single place, that is till Fresh Burger! Few roads down from the main road but close enough. It is small but they have seating outside. The burgers are yummy! No mixed drinks but they do offer beer and wine. We really enjoyed it and the employees are great . It was over $50 for two adults and two kiddos. Not the cheapest places in town for burgers but they are worth it!
