This restaurant is in a beautiful setting and our breakfasts were very good. There is a nice gift shop with items from the area. The menu had lots of options, the prices were reasonable and the service was very good as well. We would definitely go back if we are in the area again.

Coffee house with a relaxing atmosphere. Dining, lounge areas, outside deck seating. Air-conditioning. extraordinary views
We chose to have lunch at this small restaurant because it is very close to the Sanford Lab Homestake Mine Visitor Center. Food and service were good but not exceptional in any way. You order your food from the selection posted on a board and someone will bring it to your table. We ate at a table upstairs. I had a hot tuna and coleslaw panini and my husband had a Turkey, apple, and cheese sandwich.

Pump House at Mind Blown Studio creates a relaxing environment where residents and visitors can enjoy locally roasted coffee drinks, pastries, snacks and a variety of cold drinks. Beer and wine are also available. Enjoy the beautiful Black Hills and the charm of Deadwood while watching hand crafted glass sculptors being created. Our Studio, Mind Blown Studio, specializes in the art of hot glass blowing. Visitors will see our local gaffer creating one of a kind glass pieces. Classes are available; no experience is needed. All pieces are for sale and shipping is offered.
After reading the reviews, I wanted to love the charm and food here.
Pros-free parking and a super friendly counter attendant.
Cons-reading it was a deli, I was expecting to be able to get a cold cut type sandwich. They have a very small menu that only has breakfast type sandwiches or a hot dog. Given that I already told the attendant I was starving, felt obligated to order something.
Ended up with the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel and an iced coffee. The bagel was soft but nothing outside a supermarket purchased one
I asked for super crispy bacon which I got...kind of.
I thought I would find the inside charming but instead it was a lot of clutter.
Might be a great breakfast stop but with so many other choices in downtown, I would reconsider for lunch.

For Chip, it all started with her mom’s kitchen and dreams of chocolate. Even as a little girl, she was busy concocting mouthwatering chocolate treats and desserts. Since then, she’s honed her skills and become even more passionate about creating delectably delicious confections. Her sunny kitchen, located in historic Deadwood, South Dakota, is where her chocolate dreams come true every day. Each treat is an original creation, and each promises to make you swoon and sway with delight. The secret? Chip makes her truffles, toffee, and caramel with butter and love, the ingredients that make for the most sigh-worthy desserts. So next time you’re visiting Deadwood, make sure to stop into Chubby Chipmunk Hand-Dipped Chocolate Shop. This magical little confectionery promises to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth -- grown-ups and children alike.
The Black Hills are chock-full of places to get candy and other treats, but if you're in the Lead/Deadwood area, this little spot is worth a stop. Friendly staff! When they're not open, there's a fun little vending machine. Not sure how I missed your review but want to give you a belated thanks for taking the time to write. We try hard to make everyone happy!

Lewie's was recommended and we were not disappointed. Service and food was very good. The menu was a little limited but enough choices to satisfy your appetite. Would go again and will add my recommend stopping at Lewie's.

Restaurant will be temporarily be CLOSED beginning January 28, 2018 and will REOPEN May 1, 2018.<br>Meals include salad, bread with oil and vinegar for dipping, and spumoni ice cream. The meat sauce is a signature sauce made fresh in house. This restaurant is locally owned and operated. It is named in honor of the family patriarch, Harry Daniels, a long time Deadwood business man. Additional desserts and dinner specials are available. Casual dress.
We went here to try their pasta and glad we did. The staff is friendly and kind. The restaurant is off the, main tourist street but worth the walk.Thank you! We are glad you made the short walk as well. We find folks enjoy getting off the main street away from the gaming for a change.

Rather newly opened, this little cafe on the main Lead street has a blackboard menu with about 4 or 5 sandwich choices at reasonable prices. All the choices are named after family members. We shared the Olive, which was Turkey with some interesting insides (grated radish with a kind of aioli sauce). A bag of chips and some pickles included. Bread was good but no choice. I thought they said they did their own baked goods. My husband grabbed a cookie to finish off our lunch and, really, it was pretty bad, kinda stale tasting. Drinks but no glasses for them. Seems as if they are still getting their act together. But, it's not a chain and we appreciated eating in a locally-owned business. Photos of great-grandmas and other relatives lined the walls.

Located above Gold Dust Casino. Sirloin steak awesome, great angus burgers & fries (try cajun seasoning), tasty rolls with honey butter, and yummy garlic mashed potatoes. kids meals $4.50 and good choices. Someone in our party had a pasta dish and liked it a lot. Great selection of draft beers & mixed cocktails. Reasonable prices on food & drinks. Service (Jill) was awesome. Neat decor in dining area and my kids loved the bathroom sink! All in all, the best meal we have had in Deadwood. Visited today for a late lunch. Service was friendly & attentive. We ordered Cuban sandwiches, Cowboy Reuben, Bratwurst “Burger” and House made chips with wine & beer. Everyone loved their food, especially the bratwurst with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut & spicy mustard! While waiting each one of us experienced eye burning due to what we assumed was the lack of proper ventilation in the kitchen. Also, for being a new building, the restrooms could use a good cleaning, a toilet paper holder, toilet paper and functioning paper towel dispensers. Will return in the near future and hope these concerns will be addressed.
