I booked a reservation for this restaurant via email in mid-January. They wrote back and stated the reservation was "registered" but they wanted me to know that Valentines Day is a "day for lovers" and they were offering a special meal for $68 (Euro) that evening. Would that be okay?
"Fine," I replied, "we will see you then."
Imagine our surprise when we arrived at the restaurant (a 45 minute drive from where we were staying) and were told that they had no record of a reservation for us. Fortunately, I was able to access their wifi and found the email exchange. Upon realizing that the error was on the part of the restaurant, they were able to accommodate us and were quite apologetic. During the seemingly endless time it took me to locate the email exchange, however, the attitude was not so kind.
The restaurant is located across the street from the harbor and there was plenty of on street parking. The interior is quite nice--and there was a musician playing that evening who I thoroughly enjoyed. The meal? I agree with other reviewers who state that the meals are attractively plated and that the food is average.

Attentive server. Clean and courteous service. The grouper with carrots was excellent. The lobster price fix was good- not like a Maine lobster but good. The lobster ravioli was tasty, imaginative and the presentation reminded me of pho. It would be helpful if the menu was in English too.

We ate here for lunch the last day we were in Ste. Anne. It was the best meal that we had and were sorry we weren't able to come back. Most places have a decent main meat/fish component but the appetizers, side dishes, etc. are mediocre. Not at this place. They brought bread with a bit of a fishy, delicious butter soon after we sad down. The avocado/shrimp salad was also delicious. I had the shrimp in coconut sauce and they were large and fresh. The prices here are not higher than the other places we went to in downtown Ste. Anne; actually that is one of the things we found a bit odd in Martinique, prices didn't seem to vary much from restaurant to restaurant. The service was very friendly and helpful even when we told her that we (by that I mean my boyfriend) had forgot to bring enough money so we had to keep everything under the 40 euros I brought with me.

My favourite by a long shot. We had sailed to Martinique nn stop from St Helena island (3700 miles) and were needing to be spoiled. The staff went out of their way to serve us the most delicious food and we have been back twice since and will be back again before we sail to Guadeloupe

Across the street from the Marina and Mango Bay, this little local restaurant serves great food at reasonable prices. The sreving staff is very friendly, always ready with a smile and a joke.
The grilled (fresh) fish with Creole sauce is particularly good. One can relax and eat well here without breaking the bank.

Chez Louise is tucked away, well off the beaten track. First impressions over the telephone were really encouraging when the lady on the end of the 'phone, who turned out to be the eponymous Louise, offered to come and pick us up if we had trouble finding a taxi!
The service was charming and attentive at all the right times, even though there was also a really big group in the same night. We tried the 'feroce d'avocat', a kind of salt cod and avocado terrine, which was rich and very tasty, and then the Ti Regal, a platter of langoustines, tiger prawns and fish kebab, served with a variety of small side dishes including plantain, rice, sweet potato and French beans, with coconut creme caramel ('flan') and flambéed bananas with ice cream for dessert, the latter set alight at the table! It was good, honest local cooking, delivered quite elegantly but without arrogance, in a setting that really does make you feel you are "chez Louise."
We really enjoyed ourselves - particularly when the delicious house spiced rum was served as a digestif.
We would definitely return.

Welcome to Ô Blé Noir Restaurant, where you will discover a typical French (Britany) specialty: salty Galette and sweet Crèpe with Apple Cider! Exceptional recipes, ready to wake up your papillae, in the enchanting site of Le Marin's Marina...
We went there two times on our vacation. Great place to have a Galete or a crepe. Tried one with three cheeses, bacon and honey. Finger licking. The second time we tried something more classic. Cheese, ham and egg. Perfect. On the table in front they were having a huge burger which looked real good. We tried the ice creams. Rum and raisins and white chocolate. Stunning. The people are friendly. The new marina where it is located is a nice part of town.

....this place does surprisingly good food! The setting of Anse Michele is gorgeous (we went there twice during our week on island) and Le Cocotier is an excellent option if you'd like a break from the sun & surf for a very nice lunch. Very small operation that turns out great looking and tasting lunches and a selection of crepes.
Only one person speaks English, so be aware of that, but we don't speak French and it wasn't much of a problem. And you'll need a reservation - yes, really - but if you get there mid-to-late morning, you should be fine. Just go up when you get there and pick a time to come back and put your order in.
