We went there after Reading the comments on tripadvisor. The food was fine, but we were placed in a corner right in front of a big tv screen. The staff was friendly, but still we didn't get the feeling of a nice and cosy dinnerevening.

Lovely restaurant with great views over the surrounding countryside and ski slopes.
We arrived late for lunch bit the staff were very accommodating and friendly. And went out of their way to accommodate our restricted food tolerances (allergies etc.).
Food was great, serving local produce and specialities.
Well worth a visit.

The foie gras was excellent, served with toasted pain d'epice (which our French friend thought shouldn't have been toasted though I liked it) but the piece de boucher (beef) was tough. Other dishes also varied in quality and the heating failed. The centrepiece log fire remained unlit so it became a touch chilly.

Excellent evening thank you - the tartar was delightful, profiteroles scrummy, house wine delicious - thank you!

Definitely one (if not the) best restaurants in the area! Friendly staff provide excellent local/Frech cuisine. Must visit if in the area! The bar downstairs also provides a good atmosphere.

Restaurant Savoyard offering more than 30 Savoy specialties. In a warm wooden environment and a Television corner for children with a special child menu we will welcome you in a warm and smiling. Welcome to your home.
Ordered the Cote Veau. Not at all impressed. The vegetables which accompanied it arrived barley warm so went cold very quickly. The Meat itself looked, felt like and tasted as though it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. The fact the dish arrived so quickly after it was ordered supported this view. My partner had their Burger Savoyard which she said was OK but she's had better. At 23 E for the Cote De Veau, way over priced. Burger was 14.50 E

We had a couple drinks at this restaurant / bar. The staff was very friendly as they immediately brought toys for our son of 10 months. Nice atmosphere, good drinks and nice staff.

On a cold rainy day where I ventured on a roadtrip through the alps, I stopped there for lunch with a colleague. Was really quiet, only one other customer. Hostess/Server was really nice (owner?), food was good (had the tartiflette). Asked for dessert recommendations and we were both pleased. May not be considered a 5* gastronomical restaurant but price was more than reasonable, portion were generous, food was great and local. Difficult to ask for more. Worth a solid 4 out of 5.

I just came back from my trip to St sorlin, and I would almost say that this restaurant was the highlight of my trip. I went three times in a week. The servers were lovely and extremely accommodating, the food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The chef did a number of special requests for the vegetarian in our group, and the meat dishes the rest of us had were the best I have seen.
I love to see a family run establishment, mother, two sons, and one of the sons girlfriend. All of whom came out to have a chat with us at one point or other. The pastry chef even going so far as to make us a 1kg tub of the best salted caramel I have ever laid eyes upon.
I can not recommend Les Neiges any more, and if you are in the area, do drop in, you won't regret it.

If you are after a French specialty after a whole day of skiing / snowboarding, raclette is the answer. One served in L'arbate was really tasty.
Restaurant is quite spacious, so can accommodate a bigger group and some of the staff speaks English, what can be useful for foreigners without basic knowledge of French.
