They have excellent coffee, delicious paninis (as well as soup, sandwiches, some vegetarian), and a relaxing and nostalgic atmospher, yet in keeping wit the times of free WiFi and multi-use space (an artist instruction ministudio is connected as well as reading areas for kids.
this place makes an impression. The food is good...just took an awful long time for a salad to come. Perhaps it was held up because I hadn't given my preference of dressing. Service could certainly be better....

Great sandwiches. Very small though. Super relaxed atmosphere, plenty of reading and browsing to keep your mind busy.

Stopped to eat while traveling through. We've been wanting to eat here for a long time. We caught them just before closing time. They didn't have a full selection left but our plates were very good. Great price. Great food. Loved it. They only serve lunch.

there is no Starbucks in Laurel. Wanted to find coffee while down in town. Friend sent me to this little place near the mall. The menu is written all over the place, so that was a bit overwhelming, but we were both pleased with what I got to take out. Like the less sugar options and alternative milk selections. Great, friendly service. Hope I have to go back....

I had the vegetable plate and it was all home cooking! My lunch guest said that the only thing that would have made it better was a piece of cornbread! We substituted with hush puppies. Fabulous turnip greens, broccoli rice and cheese, okra, and sweet potato casserole!

Stopped for lunch. Was a little shocked by the prices, but the food was delivered quick and the meat was good. The meat comes without sauce, so you add your own and there's only one choice that I saw. The sauce wasn't the best I've ever had, but wasn't the worst either. Overall it was definitely better than a fast food burger so I was happy with it.

We had heard some great things about The Loft and decided to eat our dinner here after a pleasant afternoon browsing the town. Our waiter was Bo, who was charming and ever so helpful. He suggested La Creme Pinot Noir for my hubby while I got a Diet Coke. He suggested the Norwood Appetizer, which was wonderful, barbecue with a cajun twist with french bread for dipping in the sauce!! So great!! Also, we had the Grilled Steak Bites. as
an appetizer. Each bite was perfectly cooked and seasoned!! The two dipping sauces accompanying them were outstanding as well!! we also had the cheese sticks which were made of five different cheeses with the most marvelous marinara sauce too!! We were so filled full with all three of these appetizers!! We were so pleased with our dinner experience that we have bragged so much to others about this meal and restaurant. We plan to return in the future and taste more of their phenomenal food and the ambience of the place both indoors and outside is fabulous. The courtyard is so romantic too. We would strongly suggest to get there ahead of opening time because the place gets packed quickly.

We hadn't been here in a while because of a bad experience with a server, but we decided to try again. We were pleased with the friendly service and the food was delicious. The grilled mahi mahi was perfectly cooked and my son devoured his catfish! It is always a little warm in there in summer because the air conditioner can't seem to keep up. Other than that is was a great meal and we will return.

I liked the red sauce on the chicken enchiladas. They were good. Place was busy. I noticed there were many awards on their walls. Overall, going into an unknown town it was pretty good. It could have been cleaner, but it was okay. Would I go out of my way to come back? I guess if I was close. Guacamole tasted liked packaged. I was not impressed with the guacamole. The red sauce on the enchiladas was my fav.
