I have written more than a thousand restaurant reviews on TripAdvisor and have never given a lowly 1-star rating -- until now!
I came here specifically for the flounder. The online menu, which I perused before coming here, indicated that about six flounder dishes were available in a variety of preparation methods and with various side ingredients. When I arrived here and scanned the printed menu, it revealed the same information about their flounder dishes. But my middle aged waiter (manager?) told me that only two of the dishes were available. I could only get the flounder boiled or pan fried. He mumbled something about not having a broiler. So I chose the pan fried. The menu indicated it came with vegetables and rice.
When this meal was brought to me, I was appalled. It wasn't flounder filet. Rather, it was the entire fish, or at least the top half of this flat bottom-dwelling fish. The head was still on it as were the tail fin, pectoral fins, dorsal fin. The flat fish was maybe 3/4s of an inch thick and covered in a grayish coating from seared bread crumbs. Very garish. Very unappetizing. Zero eye appeal.
Fork in hand, I ventured forth anyway, picking away the skin to reveal a very thin layer of meat sitting on a bone bed. This fish as it was prepared was 90 percent inedible. And when I did taste the meager morsel of meat that I managed to scrape away from skin and bone, there was a taste that wasn't of fish and which l didn't like.
I hailed my waiter and expressed my displeasure at the fish. I also mentioned that I was also underwhelmed by the sides of plain white rice and what looked like plain shredded cabbage. My waiter was nonplussed. And certainly wasn't apologetic. I told him I couldn't eat any of that dish, and I had him bring me the check.
He had the audacity to charge me about $30 for this disgusting meal! At the least he should have brought me a different meal without an additional charge. Better yet, he should not have charged me at all for the flounder. The classiest approach would have been to scratch off the flounder and comp me another entrée.

Don't judge a book by its cover...this absolutely amazing, authentic Italian restorante' is located in a strip shopping center (thus, surprised when we stepped inside and saw the elegant table settings!). The food is AWESOME and extremely reasonably priced. Superb wine list, also reasonably priced. All this and the service was exceptional (thanks, Damien!).

Location has been the host of good eats for over 30 years. For those of us old enough, we fondly remember grapevine gourmet shop. Glad to know the legacy of the location keeps the quality and experience of dinning to a high standard.

I went there with some friends, one of whom is Labanese to have some middle eastern food and what we found was not excatly a restaurant , but a wonderful shop with spices , sweets and an amazing array of middle eastern food and a bakery that also serves delicious food. They have a small seating area that was comfortable , but most of all they had a wonderful man Abdul, who guided us through the delicious hot table with many options for our dinner . I had the lamb with rice and some hummus and babbaganoush. Just as we were finished eating Abdul arrived with a little dessert treat . Well we stayed way beyond closing time and had a wonderful conversation and we were all impressed by Abdul's generosity and warmth.
I will surely return and recommend this place to all. I want to go back at lunch time when the pita bread comes hot out of the oven.

Dunkin Donuts is pretty much a known quantity in south Florida. Nevertheless, the DDs on McNab just east of University in Tamarac has their Drive-through running right. Very fast service, everything is fresh and always prepared according to what is requested...and I always get a smile. Really good DD!

This was a real gem! Had the smoked tuna app, 1.79 draft beers, wife had the tuna sandwich and I had a NY strip. Awesome server was Matt, always on spot checking on us. Food was fantastic, atmosphere was fun. Totally worth checking this spot out in Ft Lauderdale.

Service was very good. The staff were friendly and efficient. It certainly was busy. We all had the chicken platter. The portions were sizeable. The tzatziki, pita, and Greek salad that came with the meal were really delicious, and authentically Greek. The chicken and Spanish rice were underwhelming, and lacked flavour. All four of us got undercooked potatoes.
