Just been for a late family lunch, venue was my suggestion and I'm now sorry I suggested it despite having lovely lunches here previously.
When booking we requested a booth if there wasn't a larger group, we were assured this was noted. Weren't given a booth even though one was empty and the other had been given to a group of 4 (there were 6 of us).
The table we were pu at was directly under a heating vent, extremely uncomfortable for 2 of our party who had hot air blasting at them until we eventually caught some one's attention to turn it off.
Overall the quality of the food wasn't great, aside from the terrine the other starters ordered were extremely small. The rib roast main was over cooked and tough, the cod catch of the day was lacking in sauce, in fairness there were no complaints about the Turkey and ham.
Not sure what was going on with the music but it was dreadful.
I'm not sure I would actually give it another go, there are plenty of other places that are far superior.

Went here on Friday 10th March. Ordered the super healthy salad with Piri Piri chicken. Very disappointed with the meal. The chicken had been fried and was either a boned out leg or thigh which I hate. You would have thought for the price of £7.50 it would have been a breast. The avocado was past its best and most of it was brown. My friend's had baked potatoes which were lovely and came with lots of salad.
The staff were lovely and the place is clean.

A warm welcome awaits you to this charming restaurant.
We paid a visit here whilst awaiting a delayed boat back to Cairnryan.Great choice of menu and we chose from the pensioners menu as we did not want a big meal ahead of our sail.Pensioner's portions are more than adequate and service was quick and food delicious, served by a lovely, friendly waitress.
Why a point deducted? Lovely glass topped table which unfortunately was rather sticky!!

Lovely restaurant close to the centre of Larne. Very friendly staff, good value for money and the most delicious good. Portion size was just right too. Highly recommend the chilli chicken and chicken chow mein.

This is a great wee cafe in the Port of Larne in the check in area for the Ferries. They sell lovely home made soup, sandwiches, snacks and cakes. I had a lovely big bowl of hot soup and gorgeous fresh Irish bread which was just right on a chilly summer day. It is reasonably priced and much much better than many 'waiting room' offerings which in my experience are often a drinks machine and crisps and sweeties!. Whilst the location is obviously not very picturesque being right in the middle of a working harbour you can amuse yourself quite happily watching the business of the port - or there is a tv and newspapers as well. There is also a good stock of gifts and souvenirs for last minute presents.
Great!

Ruby's is a family Bar and Restaurant offering a varied menu. We have daily specials and serve breakfast at weekends.
Took the family here for lunch . The food is of reasonable quality, they present the food really well and the prices are reasonable. There isn't much Seating so getting a table could be a problem on busy occasions. The staff are friendly and the place is quite clean. They have a good cocktail menu and recommend the strawberry daiquiris

If you go here check your coffee and tea before leaving. Was'nt until I rtd to the car that we realised the cups were hardly half full let alone "full". Certainly not a cheap option and service is also very slow. Not VFM. That said place was clean and tidy.

Hadn't been in here for a long time and its been redecorated and is looking great. Always extremely busy but today I called in late afternoon when it was a bit quieter. I had the chicken goujons and chips. The food was lovely. The staff as usual were very friendly. The prices are very reasonable.

Took my fiancée here for dinner on Friday 3rd November. Food was really great, with good wholesome Italian flavours superb. Have to mention our waitress on the night, she introduced herself as Sarah, honestly this girl was amazing, full of knowledge of all the dishes, nothing to much trouble for her, with a big wide smile. Honestly whatever she being paid it’s not enough.
