Stopped for breakfast on the way out of town and back home. The staff was very friendly, the food good and at a good pace. Each meal was more than we should have had but everything was good. I had a skillet with a side of eggs, over easy with an English muffin. The skillet had about everything in it and was done well, not too soft and not too hard; but way too much to eat! everyone else truly enjoyed their meal.

A little more upscale & somewhat more expensive than your typical north woods “supper club” , our experience here tonight was better than expected, given some recent reviews of this place.
Menu is more extensive & unique than many other local restaurants, and our choices (I had the pork chop & my wife had the rib eye) were well prepared & delicious, as were the salads & squash. Service could not have been better. We’ll go back soon

Visited Bent's Camp on 2/18 for the radar run. The burgers were delicious and the ice bar was cool. Everyone was very friendly and the prices were wonderful. The bikini run had a lot of ladies too! Was able to park truck and snowmobile trailer on the ice for some ice fishing.
If you find a cell phone on the bottom of the lake in 12ft of water, it's my friends. Lol

Visited Watersmeet and stayed in the nearby casino. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast and were not disappointed. This is definitely a place where the locals go. Very reasonably priced, excellent pancakes, hash browns, eggs, and biscuits with gravy. We would go again!

The chicken sandwiches are awesome! The beef sandwiches too. The prices were great. It is right on this little lake and has a great deck to enjoy the view. The staff was super friendly. It is off the beat path and worth the little bit of effort to go.

Our group of six had a very good lunch in this well decorated sports bar. Every space on the wall and most of the ceiling was filled with memorabilia -jerseys, pictures, magazine covers, baseball, bats, etc- mostly baseball and football. The dining tables are decorated with bubble gum cards of sports figures. You could spend a lot of time sipping a beer while you check out all of the artifacts. Three of us enjoyed tangy chili with a side of garlicky (wow!) cheesy bread. The others had a BLT, a hamburger and a Reuben, respectively. All of the meals were very good and at a reasonable price. There were six tap beers and I enjoyed my Summit IPA. The Pub was busy for a midweek day when it was not the tourist season. Must have been the locals. We will stop in again when we are in the area.

Seated and forgotten. Hostess finally realized, apologized to us and our waitress arrived 5 minutes later. The table next to us experienced the same issue and looked equally displeased. I can't blame the hostess completely, as the waitress was heard apologizing to each table for major delays Seems to be everything was a STALL tactic. It was a busy night but the waits once seated were not appreciated. We were in the bar/restaurant for 3+ hours for a simple fish fry. Food was good if you want to chance the wait on a busy night.

This restaurant is now owned by Greg & Beth Greenhill. The name is now Greenhill's Log Cabin. It has been owned by us since June 2014. Please come and enjoy our daily specials. We also are know for our pizza. We are serving Thin, Pan and Chicago Style Deep dish. We are also serving a fish boil on Friday.
I have been here several times when visiting the area. This time was really disappointing. The place was crowed, and a guy was taking up a 4 person table. This is not the issue until we found out he was a staff member. A guy had left over not getting seated, we waited a while for seating. All this time a table is being used by staff. As if that wasn't bad enough this time the food was not good, at all. The pancakes were some strange disgusting mix, not noted on the menu. Not even close to what i expected. They were dark brown and spicy. At least the girl took them off my bill. The waitress we had was very nice and even with the crowd we didn't wait that long for the food. The other times I have been here the food and service was awesome, this time they fell very short.

This is a very good supper club and we think its the best in the area, It has a nice ambiance and the fare is pretty standard but generally well prepared. There is a nice salad bar and the drinks are good. Prices seem about average

The Bear Trap Inn offers the traditional northwoods experience of the supper club. Our menu is diverse for patrons with specific palates.
We've been going to the Bear Trap Inn now for gosh well throughout the years going up there. It's had its up's and down's and such is life I guess with things but I must confess this specific trip was just my husband and I and we were delighted with the meals. Went there twice in a week and come late summer when we return we will go again! Wine and beer options great as are the glasses they are served in:)! I had the exact same thing both times there last week - the garlic stuffed tenderloin. For an appetizer we had the garlic stuffed mushrooms with bacon and they were tasty as can be! All this time going there and I'd never ordered their garlic tenderloin or their mushrooms and they were excellent! Also order the half and half of onions and mushrooms with the steaks and they, too, were delightful. My husband order one night the porterhouse and it was very good and the other night as they were out of prime rib - out of porterhouse (this was a Saturday) he opted for the ribeye and liked it too very much. The entire bill with appetizer mentioned and three drinks a piece was like $103 - wow huh - not a bad deal. The staff always pleasant in all ways.
