Location, location, location. What a pretty view. Family run restaurant which has been there for ages. Very friendly service and fully stocked bar. Menu contains many Polish and German specialties which are prepared als ‘grandmas kitchen’. That means hearty and good. A great place to have a family gathering . Not easy to find but worth the drive.

Went there after lunch at the Italian Oven. I have heard of this bakery many times as Riverside Bakery (in Mchenry) rival. A little more selection, a little more expensive, more imagination here than Riverside. As a sugar junkie, you gotta go.

Jen does an excellent job getting to know her customers. All the people that go there are very friendly. You feel better just entering. I can almost say it is the "Cheers" of Lake Villa.

Love love Antioch Pizza Shop!! We live about 40 minutes away and get take out and it’s still hot when we get home. We live their thin crust and deep/pan style pizza! Always fresh ingredients and flavorful!!!

Typical Mexican restaurant, great food made very fresh and very quick service. Prices are average and it's a little run down but the food is amazing.

Nino serves up a great gyro. Only place to get one in the northern burbs/Gurnee/Lindenhurst area. Fresh meat, produce in a clean environment. Nino is always on the grill. Nice family owned business.

The ice cream is delicious and you must try the waffle cone bowl, so crunchy and delicious. Toppings on sundaes are plentiful. Seating is nice and atmosphere is fun. Handicap accessible. They have ice cream cakes and frozen cow patties to take should you want a treat to go.

We tried this place first at a catered party...we grabbed our bread and went on to what we thought was your average everyday Italian beef...and it was NOT! It's "Roost Beef"!! Oh my goodness...something like an Italian beef but yet so much different! Mmm...super tender with more of a gravy on it rather than an au jus! Ugh...so good!
Since then we have ordered carry-out and that sandwich was just as amazing!! Finally was able to see a menu of theirs and I can say that I am excited to order from here again!! The menu is pretty extensive and I look forward to sampling every item!!
A must if your in the area!!

Cute little restaurant on the lake. Family friendly, hometown favorite. Food was amazing when we first started patronizing this establishment. Past two visits were less than stellar. Service and food were extremely lacking. Waitress took an extremely long time to serve the table. The restaurant was fairly empty. Food was haphazardly put together, was cold and did not taste good. Unsure as to what happened. Probably won't go back.
