I treated my wife to her birthday dinner of choice. The Red Onion Grill is close to the oldest continuously owned restaurant in the area. As such, you would expect good food, good service and an accommodating staff. It is one of few places operating year round, too. The prices are reasonable, too. We had a very good special, not normally on the menu, so ask.

Delicious! Pizza pizza pizza. We got a regular cheese and one with anchovies and mushrooms. Great crust, sauce and real cheese. Funny, delightful service by the owners and neighborhood teens. Perfect meal after a long hike up Cinder Cone!

We got a cabin by just stopping by and asking! We got lucky! The staff was very helpful and service was excellent. Will definitely come back.

The Old Mill is a quaint family style cafe where everyone know you, the pie is to die for, and the portions are large and made to order.
After service at Out Lady of the Snow on Sunday afternoons this place fills up. Since Westwood is a small town when I say it fills up I mean all 40 people from church all flood on and wait times are longer than usual. However, the food is worth the wait. I recommend breakfast which is served until 2 PM.
The interior is nothing to look at but the restrooms are clean and spacious. Stacy is polite, friendly, and quick.
Recommendations; the southwest Turkey panini, Denver omelette, pastrami burger, and the patty melt.
The pie is homemade and the crust is flaky and savory. The lemon pie is the best!!

Mom and Pop owners Heath and Christi Chase specialize in traditional favorites made from scratch with tasty twists! Breakfast includes omelettes, waffles, corned beef hash, breakfast burritos and our famous buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy. At lunch, enjoy our generous California Club sandwich, a Classic BLT, a decadent Cobb salad or our signature 1/2 lb. Chorizo Burger, to name just a few. Check our Facebook page for secret menu items and specials ... along with mouth-watering photos of our scrumptious scratch-made bakery items, like sticky buns, cranberry-orange scones, blueberry turnovers and morning glory muffins. Meals to go are always available (you are encouraged to call in your order in advance), and special orders are welcome with 48 hours notice. If you crave it, we'll make it!!
Order off the specials board. Ask the waitress what she suggests. We both loved our lunch. Great old diner with tablecloths full of old-time ads for dresses, dolls, hats, etc. A regular stop for locals. We met a high school history teacher and got caught up in the local gossip. Best meal in Chester.

Our Mission *Provide our customers with healthy choices* We use a Rice Bran oil for our fryer, which is heart healthy and GMO free. Our hamburger patties are handmade daily the pulled pork and chili are made on the premises and always with the freshest ingredients. Our sandwich meats are quality cuts. We serve a brioche bun that are preservative free. Our pizza dough is our own secret recipe. And, for all our Gluten Free folks we have Pizza crust and Hamburger buns. Our ultimate goal is to provide our customers the same quality as we would a member of our own family.
Although this place does a brisk business in take out pizza, the dine in burgers are also very yummy. Nothing fancy, very basic but there aren't many gourmet choices in this neck of the woods. The staff were all very nice and pleasant. Locals all seem to order pizza and shakes and take their orders home.

We usually come to Carols for brunch. They have good food, and I like their Bloody Marys too. We've only done breakfast and lunch here and have always enjoyed them both. The gals here are awesome. The view outside is nice too. Will definitely return again.

Had a good burger here with decent onion rings. Reasonably priced for what you get, plus they let you dress your own burger with the little toppings bar. You order at the window when you get in. The vegetarian options were ok.

Companion was delighted to find gluten-free crusts here. Mini-pizzas were tasty, and enough for 2 meals, with the salad bar. It really is good pizza, and the sauce is especially flavorful and tasty. Generous toppings. Owner/manager provided efficient, friendly service. This is one of those family-run places where the kid comes for a snack after school, and the grandparents wander in for a cup of coffee. Everyone very friendly.
