We visited Agave after a hike at the Winding Stairs Park; our party of four women were hungry after that adventure! We were seated right away after being greeted by the nice gentleman, who later ran the cash register. Our waiter was quick with the menus and taking of our orders, as well as bring chips, salsa and drinks. Our food came out hot, nicely presented, and abundant. Our waiter was always checking with us about whether we wanted more chips, salsa, drinks, how the food was, if he could get us dessert, etc. We didn't have dessert because we were all full from our entrees. I got a quesadilla supreme, with 4 stuffed quesadillas: shrimp, steak, beef, and chicken. The guacamole was wonderful. [Of the 4, the steak was not my favorite, but, the others made up for it!] If I am in the area again, and want Mexican food, I will definitely be back!

A very nice place to stop and eat in this small town. I had the grilled chicken salad and it was very good. They put vidalia onions on it which are pretty strong. I prefer red onions but it worked all the same. My kids enjoyed their food and my the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich is good. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere.

I love the pizza here! And it it inexpensive. Great deal for the price. If you are in Lafayette, check them out. But order a pizza. I have not had the buffet but it does look a little slim when I go in to pick up my order.

This restaurant reminded us of restaurants around when we were growing up. Home cooked meal with neighbors, dated items on the wall but so fun! Great salad bar, the hamburger steak was as good as the steak. Our young waitress was precious, very good experience here.

Me and my family went to supper after church baptizing. I got the chicken chimichanga with refried beans. It was good. There was 24 of us, so we sat in the back room. The service was alittle slow at first cause there was only one lady helping us. But another began to help as food was coming out. We eat there a couple times a month. It usually get shrimp tossed salad or shrimp laloma. Both are good.

All meats are excellent - the only thing missing is brisket, but ribs are great and they always run out. All sides are delicious homemade, where many use pre-packaged.

A lot of locals were here and they all know each other! I had country fried steak , macaroni and cheese and turnip greens and it was pretty good. My husband had barbecue, fried okra and pinto beans and he enjoyed his too.

Good Chicken as usual. I have changed from original to Crispy because the original has gotten so greasy. Good help for your order.

We recently ate here one night just before closing at 10pm. The young employees were very nice and didn't seem to be in a rush to get us to leave at closing although they were performing their closing tasks. They even brought our food to our table. The burgers and fries were good and hot.

BEing rom NJ I do not get real barbecue often. This place is great. Dipped shoulder was amazing and the portion was huge. Can't wait to visit again for more shoulder!
