Wow, try salpicón de mariscos and pulpo a la gallega, so fresh and tasty. Also tried the fresh cantaloupe juice with vodka, it was very refreshing. Even the Alfredo sauce is homemade, nothing pre-cook. The waiter very attentive he told us he works there for 20 years and he is very happy.

Though specialising in Middle Eastern cuisine, Yolanda and Juan's menu have a range of local (Dominican) dishes. In fact if you speak to them beforehand, they will endeavour to cater for special requests. Their hospitality is excellent. Prices are reasonable. Seating is available indoors with air-con, and also a renovated outside Terrace to watch the world go by. The recipes have been passed from generations and after 46 years, the restaurant continues to develop its menu and deliver an excellent mouth watering experience. Do not forget to try the dishes for which they are most known for, the Kipe and Catibias. The Kipe is a traditional arabic dish made out of bulgur wheat filled with meat and fried to perfection and the Catibia is their version of an empanada made out of yuca instead of flour and filled with a variety of options like meat, chicken, cheese, conch or a combination of these. They are amazing! Shish Kabab has now opened their second location on the Autopista del Coral, it's the highway that connects to the east coast of the island. Coming from Santo Domingo, it will be after the first toll, just before the second one next to the Gas Station Next. If you are coming directly from La Romana, it will be just before the first toll. The new location offers the same menu and has created a cozy, elegant and tropical ambiance that is perfect for a road trip stop for food and refreshments. Their natural juices are a must, in addition of course to the Kipes and Empanadas, which they are famous for. If you are traveling back home from the Punta Cana airport, this will definitely be the best goodbye meal of a lovely visit.
Delicious quipes a place to go with family served by its owner, typical arabic dishes, a restaurant icon of the area for many years

Simple, relaxed, tons of different beers, great burgers and a unique character: owner Carlitos. Disney have Mickey, Dom Ham and La Romana have Carlitos....one in a million....fun is guarantee I had a blast

I am a home owner at Casa de Campo and so often eat at all the restaurants in the complex and especially the marina. Peperoni has been one of our go to places for years although it has consistently been higher in price that the others it also has a slightly higher level of menu so pricing has not been an issue. I took my family of six there last week and was shocked when the total bill was $325 US before tips. We were four adults and two small children and all except myself had pizza and no cocktails or wine so a fairly basic meal. I also noticed they charged for bread which was placed on the table without being asked . this was something I have never noticed before. I seriously have plenty of money but just do not like being gouged and felt this was the case. I will have to consider whether I wish to go back again or confine my business to Lemoncello instead.

Experience the flavors of the Mediterranean without ever leaving the Caribbean at La Caña. Enjoy light lunches and satisfying dinner of traditionally prepared gourmet cuisine. The authentic flavors will almost make you bask the warmth of the sun on the French Riviera, see the architectural wonders of Milan, and feel the cobblestones beneath your feet.
We dined at La Cana Club at The Grille. We ate there twice since it was so fabulous. The service was only exceeded by the innovative food served by Chef Santiago. When in Punta Cana, make an effort to dine here. Worth a special trip!

This is a gem in La Romana. A little bit hard to find if using gps. Excellent service. We were greeted by owners who are very friendly and recommended some great dishes. Calamari appetizer was great. The raviolis were excellent. Pasta bolognese was also very good. Excellent italian menu. Very reasonable prices. Will definitively go back next time in La Romana. Avoid tourist traps at Casa de Campo and go to Lucas Restaurant instead.

This place serves very good coffee and has some good sandwiches, french pastries like croissants. One downside is that they seem not to have wifi for customers, in my opinion, a huge downfall. La Romana is not a very touristy city, so expect to see a lot of locals. If you are driving, use the parking lot that is beside the place. If you are walking, beware as some pickpocketing has been reported around this place. They also serve lunch, their food is good and has good presentation. Keep in mind that restauranteurs in the DR are not obligated to pu prices including taxes, so everything is 28% more of what you see in the menu. VAT Tax is 18%, and tipping is mandatory by law, that is another 10% of the check.

Great atmosphere, a very nice menu with beautiful options!
We've ordered a fantastic Linguini with lobster and tomato souce.
We've also ordered twice a Penne with salmon and vodka. The first time was much better then the second one.
The portions could be bigger...
The service was nice!

Simply, there is no other gelato worth your time, not only in La Romana, but in the Dominican Republic. Handmade and amazing. Flavors change frequently and they're all good. The employees are also very friendly and professional. We stop here a couple of times a month and it's always great.
