Just returned from a late summer tennis blast at La Manga with 5 other like minded people aged between 23 and 65.
Keen to watch the Rugby Autumn Internationals which were being shown at the Si! bar so we headed that way.
Easy to find on a side road just off the main road through La Manga.
Nice external Sun Deck area in front of the bar that is a good place for morning coffee.
Inside is spacious with further additional Seating outside if the weather is right (might be too hot in summer yet spot on in November).
There's also a small self contained area away from the main bar for a dozen people or so just as you walk in the front door. This area has a large screen TV too.
And it's wall to wall TV's that you then see as you walk into the main bar with many of them in 4K HD.
Pick your sport / match and take a seat! Staff were good at matching sound levels for each to what was being watched.
Choice of beer was good, although could always benefit from more dark beers as opposed to the regular pale fizz.
Food was very good indeed. More British comfort food yet very well cooked and good sized portions.
We also had lunch here and the Club Sandwich was excellent as was the Ceasar salad.
Staff were pleasant and efficient although could perhaps smile a bit more!
Overall, perhaps the best place to eat and drink in low season at La Manga.
(England did beat Argentina too which helped)

We ordered two-courses on Monday afternoon here (group of 6) dined and the king prawn garlic starters with garlic bread and complimentary bread on table was all a lovely start. Three of us ordered pizza which was terrible- it had no base and was thinner than a pancake dripping in all its cheese and toppings. Worst we have ever seen. I ordered the tuna Spanish salad which was fine but others were a let down.

A very popular restaurant serving fresh Italian food. Varied menu. Very friendly service. Very busy later in the evening when local customers come by. The focacia bread is to die for, one between two is plenty as a starter. Pizza and pasta dishes are all very good. The red house wine is really good. Strongly recommended - great value for money.

This was a bit of a disappointment, we arrived at the restaurant after Reading good reviews on Trip Advisor and were really excited with what was a really beautiful setting, lovely atmosphere and chilled environment. The restaurant is beautiful and the interior stylish and comfortable.
We ordered and had a very mixed experience. I ordered paella with my boyfriend and it was nice, not great. The portion was good. My mom ordered the tarbet and it was stunning, really well done. A large portion, beautifully presented, delicious. Easily. 10\10. My sister ordered the tuna tarter and when it came we were shocked by how small the portion was. It was about 4 heaped tablespoons of food, plus some salad leaves and a large cracker. We asked the waitress if a mistake had been made and she was very helpful and bought over a menu and explained what we had ordered. We wanted to change to a bigger portion or dish and the manager was called over. We explained that we didn't realize we had ordered something so small and could we change it. The manager was polite but said we couldn't change the dish, we could order something else but still be charged(it was 19euros). I didn't agree with this as I don't think the dish was the portion for a main, especially compared to everything else we all ordered which were so much bigger. Anyway, the disagreement was in regards to the clarity. The manager said it was clear on the menu that it was small, I don't agree that it was. So that ruined the meal a bit as the conversation was a bit unpleasant. Apart from that though it was great, and I would have given it a 4/5 if it wasn't for that (5/5 if the paella had been better).

We were finding it difficult to locate a fresh fish lunch, then we spotted this place and were pleasantly surprised. Cod and sea bream, both well seasoned and cooked by someone who knew what they were doing. A nice bottle of sparkling Rose wine, and some lemon cake for dessert. Friendly service, we would go again.

About seven days ago I messaged through Trip Advisor, about catering for vegetarians. To date have not received a reply. Because of the rating I thought I'd visit the restaurant and look at the menu and see if they cater for vegetarians.
I would have appreciated. A reply to my question, which would have saved me a trip. I can't comment on the food as I did not eat there but the welcome and rude man behind the the counter, I've never experienced.
I said I love creme brûlée and coffee. Would it be possible just to have this and his reply straight away - no chance we are a small place and the tables are all fully booked.
Oh well you live and learn!
I didn't want it instantly, I would have gladly booked a table at a future date. They did me a big favour as just down the marina I managed to get creme brûlée and coffee which was Perfect!
I'm rating this average for service not for food.

We decided it was time to go back to this restaurant & took our son & his girlfriend. We were all very impressed with the food - the starters were very tasty. Our main courses, between us were the entrecôte which was excellent, the ribeye for 2 people was very good & the suckling pig was also very good.
The waiters were friendly & helpful.
There is only really one criticism & that is that we would've liked hot plates, they were cold which meant the food got cold quicker.
We will be back soon.

This restaurant is in a spectacular location, peaceful and idyllic literally on the shores of the Mar Menor, near the Marchamalo salt flats at playa paraiso.
The restaurant owners have made the most of the location by providing a first class restaurant service at a very good price. Three of us ate a lovely meal, main course and sweet with drinks for 80 euros. The meal started with a lovely amuse bouche. The food was cooked perfectly and presentation was excellent.
As always with recommendations, the key is 'would I go again' or 'would I resommend this to a friend' and I can, without reservation say yes to both.
we had a lovely evening watching the sea and sunset, enhanced by a lovely restaurant context.
One member of our party has limited mobility, using a rollator and access at this restaurant was fine, with few steps and wheelchair ramps.
there is ample parking in a small car park 3 minutes walk from the restaurant and also in the surrounding streets.
