A small restaurant that doesn't look fancy, however, the food is huge and amazing. We sat outside and tried all different varieties from the menu and recommendations from the staff. This was some of the best food we had in Barcelona. Even though we didn't speak much (any :)) spanish/catalan the staff was most helpful and friendly. I've starred this place and hope to return soon.

I cannot stop recommending this place.
Everytime I'm in Barcelona I find my way to this restaurant for a dinner with their stunning degustation menu.
GREAT: The seasonal raw materials used to tailor the menu, the service, the wine menu and the prices... Not to be missed.
Thank you again :)

The restaurant Antichi Sapori De Angelis is the perfect choice for all those who want to enjoy a meal in a genuine Italian place. Our secret lies in the simplicity and the quality of our products, elaborated in an authentic way, which, together with our traditional wood fire oven makes our pizzas a pleasure for the palate. But Antichi Sapori is not only pizza, we also offer a wide selection of antipasti, salads, pasta, meat and fish, all accompanied by a variety of wines and beers from all Italian regions. Our staff are Italian.
The place is nice and cozy. It came highly recommended by staff at the hotel we were staying at.
The food is not complicated. Authentic Italian restaurant.
I just think the pre packaged bread sticks lack personal touch for such an authentic italian restaurant.
The staff could be friendlier or maybe it was the language barrier.
Aubergine bake as a starter was great, the wine was good and the apple tart was to die for.
But overall it was a good restaurant, it being one of few good restaurant around the city centre.

Booked a table as close to hotel and good rating on trip advisor. The rating was spot on, great meal, staff were excellent, my partner and I have poor Spanish and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The meal was fantastic and prices were more than reasonable. Loving the Barcelona adventure so far and places like this are what make the city so welcoming

With this kind of friendly atmosphere that the restaurant and its employees offer, you will not resist to enjoy your time with your close friends and laugh loudly without any problem.
Food was great, though that i was not that much hungry, but i ate a lot of what we had.
At the end we had some sweets, the best was (Flan de la Abuela), a big dish of very well made cream caramel.

We are a place to enjoy Food and Wine without losing the tradition, experts cheeses, cured meats grilled Iberian meats, wines with sommelier service.
Had a great dinner there. Lots of great eats. Some simple but so tasty. Wine suggestions were great as well. Friendly staff. Interesting mix of what most would consider breakfast/brunch meals along with dinner from the grill as well. The eggs/potatoes dish was outstanding. The foie gras was "lighter" but again tasty. The salad special was a fine mix of texture, salt, taste. Overall, great experience. My guess is this would be a knock out breakfast place as well.

Delicious burgers. Very friendly staff! First you choose you topping combo, second what kind of meat (beef pork lamb or chicken) and third you choose the size of the burger. The place has character! We've been twice. Also, beers are served in freezer cold glasses.

Having just checked in nearby and it was then mid-afternoon on a Sunday there weren't many options open for brunch but found this on 'Near me now' on Trip Advisor as was pleasantly surprised.
The area outside isn't picturesque but once inside this small café restaurant delivers good food and a good price in a clean and efficient manor.
A good find when options are limited in this area.

Best place in the quarter (probably in the whole city!!!!) to lunch and dinner.
Premium quality and very, very well treated products. Imaginative dishes, beautifully presented and perfect care staff (attentive without invading your space). Relaxed atmosphere with good music at the appropriate volume. Good wines, well baked bread and good coffee. Reasonable prices. Samuel has found the perfect recipe to cook the best meals in the city.
