The cultural hub of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is visually defined by the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, which, at 88 stories high, are the tallest twin buildings in the world and a vision of modern architecture. On the flip side, the Sri Mahamariamman is the oldest Hindu temple in Malaysia, its façade a colorful totem pole of iconography. Shopping at the Central Market is a joyful experience that involves haggling, handicrafts, and happiness.

Backed by 40 years of experience in various fine dining kitchens around the globe, Werner Kuhn set up El Cerdo KL, in the year 2005. The restaurant is well known to many as the No. 1 European style Pork Specialty eatery in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on traditional recipes. Having gathered many accolades for its outstanding food and service quality, the most popular item is "The Cochinillo Segoviano", a Spanish style roasted suckling pig dish that is served with the obligatory Plate Cutting Ceremony. Our slogan shouts out loud 'Nose To Tail Eating'.
We had the meat balls as starter, the spare ribs and pig tail stew as main. The starter is a bit salty. The spare ribs were tender and juicy and so as the pig tail. Service was very good. We also ordered a bottle of wine. And the bill was around 330 ringgit which I found it was totally worth it. The ambience was nice two. I saw that the next tables had the suckling pig and it looked very delicious. Surely we will try next time.

A Western-fusion restaurant and bar bringing you food and drinks you know using only the best ingredients.
We had an entourage of 7 folks meeting up for the first time as my best mate proposed to his GF. The food choice was great from the usual bar bites to their spicy finger licking vindalooo fried rice. Would give them thumbs up for the taste.
We sat outside and the ambience was nice.
Their staff was courteous, witty and friendly . I forgot the dude with the handlebar mustache name but he was a great sport. As they had a full house the food Delivery was slightly slow but they gave us a tray of shots as a complementary buzz .
Nice place and will definitely return.

The Steakhouse is a 40-seater steak joint along Changkat Bukit Bintang and adjacent to The Whisky Bar. The beef is imported from Australia and you can choose between the aged Black Angus and Grain Fed. Thereon, choose from five cuts - medallion, tenderloin, rib-eye, T-bone and striploin after which you choose your sauce (bearnaise, black pepper, red wine etc) and style of potatoes (baked, mashed, wedges etc).
You need to have steaks here- obviously - and they are good. My partner and I both had Ribeye - excellent. The sauces and accompaniments are great too. The service was noteworthy and brilliant - extra sauce provided at the drop of a hat etc....MoreHi StevieCCD, thank you for the review! Introducing Opium KL! Established on 12th July 2014, this unique outlet focuses on Asian Oriental delights with a twist; such as Phoenix Dumpling, Fern Leaf Salad, Crispy Duck Noodles, Wagyu Beef Rendang, and the signature Beef Brisket & Tendon Stew just to name a few. Inspired by the Opium regimes of the east, the interior speaks for itself. Furnished with age-old artifacts such as an opium bed in the Rose Room, opium pipes and huge Chinese wine pots displayed vividly at the Communal area, the outlet aspires a 1930s-1960s look and feel. It's slogan, Eat Drink Man Woman takes a more subtle approach to distinguish Opium KL as the place for people to unwind and focus purely on the food, conversation and quality time.
We visited for dinner on a Friday night. The location is within a bustling area, right next to Jalan Alor. They have both outdoor and indoor Seating. Outdoors permits smoking, but lets you watch all the action on the adjacent streets. We tried the chicken...MoreHi ishan23, thank you for the lovely review! The distinction of making Indian Heritage cuisine world famous undoubtedly belongs to Grand Master Chef Imtiaz Qureshi. He was responsible for introducing the concept of the 'Stand-up Tandoor' and 'Dum' by researching and perfecting them as Chef, at the various restaurants. Chef Imtiaz created recipes that are now on the menus of numerous Indian restaurants world over.
Goaan fish curry wasnt really at its best. Ive tasted better, was a little dissappointed actually.
The aloo kulcha was too good. Other dishes ordered were delicious too. Very impressed with the service rendered. Beautiful interior with chandeliars everywhere. Menu was also very inviting. Will definitely come again.

The Point is an intimate venue which combines two different concept under one roof. A charming restaurant that offers modern creative fusion dishes in a casual dining environment and lounge bar serving crafted liquors, speciality cocktails and tasty tapas. This neighbourhood establishment prevails in providing a warm, casual yet vibrant ambiance with the restaurant being able to host of up to 40 pax whereas the bar, 65pax. Due to the high rating of travel advisors, I decided to book this restaurant as my birthday dinner. However, we are very disappointed and regret to celebrate my birthday here. When we arrived, I asked the waitress to check out my booking but she could not found my name, my online booking was not in their booking list and I have to show them my booking number, then she took us to a 2 seat table in a dark corner (we had 3 person) and we asked for change to another table, and she told me that the table was reserved I was surprise and I told her I also made a reservation (the problem is your system not updated, is this my problem?). In the end she bring us to another seat. During our dinner, another waiters served us. And we observe that she speak very politely to the noble guests, she treat us is completely different, perhaps we did not wear elegant clothing.

Our group shared the pork knuckle, organic pork ribs and the sausages. All the dishes were excellent - of the 3, perhaps the only one that was slightly less good was the pork ribs, but a minor discrepancy. there is also other meats on the menu and pizza. There is draft Guinness available, which was good. If someone in the party has a birthday, the waiters all gather round and sing Happy Birthday - so be prepared to be embarrased! The music is all 60s/70s/80s, which was good for us, but the younger crowd may not appreciate it. Overall, a good meal in a restaurant with a good atmosphere. Would recommend.
