We are happy to make the 60min round trip to this restaurant every week as its amazing!
The best massaman I have found yet, plus they use wild rice here which is a nice change.
The views are lovely. The staff are super friendly and like to chat.
They are also conscious about their environmental impact and dont use straws or styrofoam and they limit plastic bag use.

Chalita Cafe Restaurant is a family business located in a thai cozy wooden house where you will feel like home. <br>CLOSED ON SUNDAY.
We stayed just outside of Krabi for 8 days and got a taxi here 4 times.
The atmosphere here is constantly buzzing, people queuing up waiting for a table.
The owner is so friendly, cracked us up with her stories and bent over backwards to please us.
The food was out of this world!!!!!!
We had the seafood fritters to start on every night we went- they are just the best and so fresh!!! We tried the Panang curry, which was the best we had eaten in Thailand over 3 weeks, chicken Singapore noodles, again amazing!! I would imagine the whole menu to be just as tasty!!!
There little grand daughter is so cute too who just added to the family charm of the place!!
Thank you so much for an amazing 4 nights. We can’t wait to come back and visit you again!!!!

We really enjoyed the tour. The trip includes no more than 6 people, so it is very intimate. Mr. Chet is very nice, takes pictures for everyone, and knows where to go in the right time so it wouldn't be too crouded. The food was really good, and we had a great time! Thank you!

We only called in for coffee and cake (so can not comment on the meals). The freshly made coffee was fine, but the 'deconstructed' banoffee pie a disaster... a glass beaker with a little smashed up biscuit with a small sliced fresh banana and topped with a squirt of aerosol cream. Don't bother trying it for yourself :(

Yang restaurant is open for dinner 18:00-22:00 Closed Tuesdays. Credit cards is not accepted. Reservations are recommended.
Yang Garden deserves all the 5 stars reviews is getting: outstanding food, impeccable service, lovely ambience. I wish we had discovered it at the beginning of our stay.
Both the duck brest and the tuna were scrumptious.
Thumbs up also for their mojito! Not always easy to find a good one in SE Asia!

Sandwich Me serves authentic Thai street food. It is now conveniently located in Klong Muang Plaza close to Le Cafe Thai restaurant and Cocktail Bar. It is also within a walking distance to Dusit Thani hotel. Here at Sandwich Me, Ollie, the cook uses only good and fresh quality ingredients. You can really taste the freshness while eating your home cooked meal. You can also see and watch Ollie while he is cooking in his open kitchen.
The name is odd for a Thai restaurant but the food is amazing. Cold beer and good cocktails help pass the time while you wait for your freshly prepared food.
Enjoyed every thing we had on our 3 visits here.
It is a fairly small restaurant so you can have a wait to get a table at busy times but definately worth it.

i must say that i so wanted to love this place! i've often seen Daniel, the owner's husband, down at the end of Klong Khong beach, fishing for the night's specials...
when i got to the restaurant, beautifully situated on a little bluff set back from the road,
the smiles were genuine and i went to a table along the edge, looking forward to a bit
of sunset... maybe i ordered wrong, and should have waited for Daniel's catch,
but i had to be at a friend's place soon; i went with fish cakes (unusual to find)
and a bowl of tom yum noodle soup...
the fish cakes were in themselves quite tasty, and i give bonus points for not being greasy whatosever...
the sauce was underwhelming, just standard chili sauce w/some cucumbers sliced into it (as opposed to what would normally be a vinegar-based dipping sauce,
with a balance between the sweet chili and the vinegar; this had none of the vinegar.)
and now the matter of the dreadful tom yum noodle soup- they came back several minutes after i had ordered ba mee noodles to ask would it be alright if they subbed woon sen noodles- i said ok (our conversations were in Thai, since i do live here)
when it arrived, the noodles were a gloppy, inseparable mass, and the broth was like
nothing tom yum that i have ever tasted, and i don't mean that in a good way, unfortunately!!! i took several spoonfuls and 1 chopstick half full of noodles
(no easy feat since they were so hopelessly stuck together)
before i resorted to everything possible to try to liven it up w/actual flavor,
chili flakes then prik nam pla, hen lime- this made it tasty enough to finish nearly half,
and i got the rest in a takeaway (which i never ended up eating, alas)
i am sure that this place is much better than the unfortunate part of the meal i had, and give them bonus points for the (non greasy!) fish cakes themselves (they should make the sauce an equal combo of the chili sauce & vinegar & cucumber)
their overal cleanliness is of the highest order in every area of the restaurant,
and it is really quite a pleasant space- and i can tell from the fish cakes (as well as overhearing some diners and seeing empty plates being cleared) that there is something special about this place (but please, change the sauce for those nice fish cakes!!!)

Cozy is a small, noisy and busy roadside guesthouse and restaurant located in the southern part of the Long Beach area, Koh Lanta, Thailand. The restaurant is open for guests looking for either some genuine, high class, Thai food or something likewise from our mouthwatering Western menu. The restaurant is closed due to low season from May 20 'til August 31'st. Please note that we don't accept credit cards, cash only. Welcome!
Popped in one evening. I had the bacon cheese burger, the smoked food list looked class but I just fancied a burger. It was great. Gin and tonics were also lovely Girlfriend had the sailors toast, she also said hers was excellent. Definitely worth a...MoreThank you very much for sharing your burger-experience with others! I'm glad you popped in and you are very welcome for a re-visit. Thank you for writing at TA, we love when our guests are happy! Linda/owner.

Please note: Pre-bookings only! (Fridays excluded) The Table is a restaurant with a slightly different concept as we have only One Table. This means that you reserve one, or a few chairs. The rest of the chairs will quite possibly be booked by other people, and we will all dine together. We have no menu. The Chef will cook based on the best catch from the local markets. The result will be a surprise for all of us! Dinner starts at 19.30. Pre-bookings only and you will not leave hungry.
Nice Swedish/Thai couple who's launched an alternative dinner experience: a surprise daily menu based on market finds and the Thai cook's inspiration. It was interesting and good. Sharing the meals with other guests is a good trigger for discussions, and there is a lot to learn from the hosts.
Why not 5 or 4 stars? Our core objective (and the performance we paid for) was the meal: altough her passion is evident, and the experiments interesting, the taste was not particuarly special to us. So it's the combination of taste and value that brings it down, despite the fact that we had a very enjoyable evening overall, which we do not in any way regret and even recommend as a different experience on Lanta.
