Went out with family for a hangout. The place definitely has that typical restaurant smell which puts u off the moment u get inside. The restaurant is purely vegetarian, so nonveg freaks.... Watch out before you go. The menu is good but preparation don't live up to the standard. Ordered for a cheese burst pizza...... It was below standard. The coffee was gud. The rates don't justify the service and quality. Overall..... Not so satisfying experience.

Easy to find place with good vegetarian food, excellent service and clean ,beautiful ambiance.
South Indian food is their specialty but we found even continental food was also very tasty.
Though the prices are on the higher level but if someone is looking for a vegetarian only restaurant this is the place I would like to recommend.

While on a trip to east of Rajasthan I had a stopover at Kota for few hours in evening and that gave me enough reason to try known for many years as Kota's "Best food Joint", Amar Punjabi!
This was my first visit to this Joint.
My simple method of evaluating a Punjabi Joint in one go is how they do their Dal Makhani and Lachcha Paratha or Makke di Roti and Sarson Da Saag Combo.
As far as what I have experienced in Rajasthan, I haven't experienced such a madding crowd at any Joint.
And at the speed they were packing parcels it was like I was witnessing a food factory in full flow and the set of Big Turbans busy pumping out bills!
After enquiring a bit about it, I realised travellers don't cross Kota without it if they just get a window of about half an hour!
My order of the Night was my weakness, Dal Makhani and Laccha Parathas Combo followed by their Kesar Lassi.
What a Dal Makhani it wasssss, infused with that wholesome Garlic Flavor, that soooooo smooth and soft Rajma and Black Lentils, loaded with Cream and Butter!
The regular reader of my posts must be fed up by now of my regular chanting about Lachchas but believe me this Lachcha was a deadly blow!
As soon as it came out on my plate with that steam bellowing out of it, sprinkled with some herbs and again loaded with Butter, I crushed it with my own very hands!
The first bite made me realise I was experiencing the Punjabi version of Nirvana!
The Lassi by the way didn't impress me much, it felt more like a Shrikhand.
The Dal Makhani and the two Lachchas if taken in ala carte mode will set you back by about ₹170 but this Combo super perfect for any heavy duty is priced at a super competitive ₹115!
Also the complimentary finely sliced fresh Onions and Green Chillies sprinkled with masala served with Lemon completes your experience.
The staff super courteous making you feel that you can have more at this Joint, I had a Bus to Catch otherwise would have gone for something more for sure!
Located exactly at the Railway station of Kota Junction, it can't get better for a non resident of Kota.
In the Land of Dal Baati, this one stands head and shoulders above it!

This Restaurant is located near chhawani circle on the road towards airdrome circle below over bridge. It is one of the old restaurant in kota. The food was delicious but ambiance not so great it just ok, So don't expect any luxury but food quality will not disappoint. One more problem is parking of car during peak hours, Consider this while going there. Overall value for money.

Specialise in pyaaz ki pachauri and daal kachauri.
Samosas and paneer pakodas are other items that it is famous for along with varieties of namkeen/savouries.
Economical and convenient.
It does not have that fancy space to boast of. Remarkable thing is food taste that has not changed over years. It is always full of people relishing their snacks. Located in Gumaan pura, there are other snacks shop in vicinity but Jodhpur snacks is jewel in crown.
