If you don't mind a little walk up a hill then this is the place for you.
Great views, amazing food and friendly thoughtful owners.
Traditional food is a must and you can tell they put a lot of love in to there business. If your all inclusive at your hotel it's worth spending the money on a night out. The food was delicious.

Very enjoyable meal catering for a party of 10. The restaurant offered a Greek plate which the owner recommended trying which consisted of Stifado, Mousaka and a stuffed tomato, absolutely delicious. The Greek fish plate was good too, with an excellent selection of fresh fish. Beautiful traditional Greek dessert and a huge ice cream for those who didn’t want the Greek dish. Very content family after dinner which is no mean feat!

We've stayed in Rhodes island for 2 weeks. Visited many restaurants, but this one was the best! We've tried vegetarian pasta, vegetarian pizza, calzone special (asked no meat), mediterranian salad, tiramisu. Everything tasted great and super fresh ❤ Also - great cappucino! (the only coffee I really enjoyed for 2 weekes of my stay in Rhodes).
Staff is attentive and friendly, also has good sence of humour :)
Only thing I could think of that could be improved is location (sea or Mountains view, tables in a garden, rooftop or sth like that).

Fantastic value well worth the visit. Buy two cocktails for 15 Euros and get one free. The staff were very polite it also shows live English football if you get withdrawal symptoms

The taverna is in the centre of the old village of Koskinou. We serve fresh local meat cooked to perfection on charcoal, along with other traditional greek starters, and not forgetting dessert of greek yoghurt and homemade spoonsweets All wines,ouzo and raki are local.

During my 10 day stay in Koskinou I had dinner at Tasos Taverna 3 times. I guess that says enough :) Service is very friendly but most importantly: the food is excellent. All three times I went i took the lamb chops - hard to...Morethank you,so happy you enjoyed your evenings in our taverna.

My husband and I enjoy looking for restaurants that are a bit off the beaten track. We found this lovely place while in Rhodes Old Town for the day as one of the ports on our cruise aboard Ventura. Usually when we do this, we go without breakfast and look for somewhere that we can eat local cuisine for lunch. This one didn't disappoint. We were served by the nicest lady who made us lovely fresh Greek salad and souvlaki to share. She was obviously extremely busy and struggled with English, but, she was welcoming and helpful. We sat in the courtyard garden to eat and the setting was beautiful. Lovely food served by a lovely lady in a lovely setting. Thank you.

Was pulled into this place. We asked for a large coke thinking it would be a pint, OMG it was masive. Ask for a beer and get a boot or boob glass. Food is ok.Dear Sue The review is probably intended for another place. We do not serve massive cokes or beer in boot and boob glasses and our food is awesome. Kind regards Dimitrios

Quite a walk up the hill from the Aldemar hotel Koskinou, but well worth it. The restaurant is small, but with a lovely outdoor area. The staff are very friendly & the food is probably some of the best I ate in Rhodes. The baby pig was delicious on the first visit so went back with friends. On the second visit the skin was burnt, but the meat was still very tasty. The Kleftiko was not traditional & seemed more like roast lamb, but was also tasty. I would definitely recommend.

From the strong trip adviser rating I was expecting something special but found a limited menu limited wine list that some were not available. Appetiser was very good, pasta OK and main average. Maybe got it on an off night, also sign outside saying no credit cards that we didn’t see when we entered, copper in up to pay the €190 bill
