We always go here in Ace Centerpoint branch everytime they (my nephews & gangs) like to eat chicken barbecue. The food taste is still the same since the last time (2013) i'd been. Guys love the unlimited rice. The barbecue chicken is so yummy and cheaper than any barbecue i tried.

This spread-out restaurant outside Koronadal has great fish. Personally, I prefer its deep-fried catfish, but, on the occasions when I have been here, other members of my family group also like its fried tilapia and its grilled catfish. My wife also has tried and liked its kinilaw (a dish with raw fish). The fish is not only excellent but inexpensive--you can order a dish of catfish or tilapia that is enough for 5 people for about 170 pesos. You can also have a 1.5 liter bottle of pepsi for 170 pesos brought to your table. When we went lunch time last Friday there were many groups of people seated at this restaurant's large tables, filling up this good-sized restaurant. I am a bit surprised that no one has reviewed this restaurant on tripadvisor before. When we go, we order its fish--perhaps others who have been there can say if they like its other dishes.
This restaurant is about 20 minutes drive by car from the traffic circle in Koronadal, up the national highway. If you are coming from the General Santos City direction take the left road at the traffic circle (the road called Aluman Avenue in Koronadal). The restaurant is about five minutes drive by car past the Banga Bridge (which is well marked by a sign). The Fortune Field Resort's restaurant is to the right, right next to the highway--you will have to be careful to look for a sign for this resort or you may go past this restaurant.

The place is OK at night the lightings are good but during the day seems not presentable.Maybe lack of maintenance.I think the place had seen better days.Very hot in the afternoon too.Just electric fans situated on the wall cooling the place. Most of the food we want to order that day are not available.I remember eating spring rolls and a huge bowl of soup that I don't remember what's in it some corn on the cob.My husband I think order a clubhouse Sandwich . I'm a huge fan of mango shake and I noticed that it's a bit pricey.

Francheska

Reviewed By Soulman1949 - Manchester, United Kingdom

We'd been to the cinema with a friend and wanted to have lunch but the usual mall fast food variety. Our friend recommended Francheska Grill, which is very near to where my partner used to live, a few minutes away from the Koronadal Rotonda in the centre of town.
Francheska's offers Filipino food, all you can eat and drink - it cost us only 128 PhP per head. The variety of food on offer was just stunning, around 20 dishes ranging from veggie to fish to beef to chicken (please note this is a Halal restaurant so no pork dishes are available) accompanied by rice and noodles.
It is a basic, no frills restaurant but that doesn't mean it's scruffy, far from it. It was comfortable enough and clean. As far as I could see there are two rooms, the main dining area as you enter and a larger room inside. The clientele appeared to be local.
But if you think dining on a budget means poor quality food then you're mistaken. This is genuine Filipino food to a very good standard. I have to admit to not being a fan of the fast food chains and prefer to patronise family run locations where they stand or fall by the quality of the product they're offering - this is such a place.
I have no hesitation in recommending Francheska Grill and will certainly be back.

Fine dinning resto in the suburbs of Koronadal City. Great for special occasions and visiting friends. A place perfect for pictures and selfies. Food wise it was good. They have international menu with a local taste. No pork and no msg here. They also offer healthy fruit-veggie shakes. The price is way cheaper compared the manila restos. Just be ready with cash because they don't accept credit cards yet.

I was invited for dinner during the T'nalak Festival. I was informed that they only have 5 items on the menu and all are Seafood. We ordered Steam Crabs only with rice and coca cola. The crabs were good but they don't have the Aligue (crab fat) that I really like. I'm not sure if that's just seasonal or they only serve male crabs here.
The total bill for the 4 of us was around 2,000 pesos which means that at P500 person is not to expensive. Although their facebook page says that it is Fine Dining, most Fine Dining restaurants in the provinces are not very strict with their dress codes. You can wearing anything here.
I consumed nearly 3 cups of rice. :-)

McCoy's Rib Joint

Reviewed By Don R

I went there to try their famous ribs but was not impressed with their ribs. I was expecting soft meat falling from its bone but eating was quite a struggle coz the meat is not tender. Presentation would have been better too if they added something on top like parsley or something just to make it look appealing. But i'm willing to comeback and try their other dishes, their Sandwich looks promising :)
