We decided to eat inside, second level Seating only a few tables. Specialty meat platter was perfect for sharing. Bread ordered separately. Main courses included macaroni with shrimp and scampi. They were closing in two days so their wine cellar was empty but we were able to order their house wine. The fig cake dessert with candied oranges and chocolate alone was worth the visit. We enjoyed being out of the heavy traffic area and stopped on the way back to our hotel for a night cap and a table with a view.

This food was delicious! It is a family owned place. We did not have Reservations so we could not sit outside but inside was perfectly lovely. We could see everything that was going on which was interesting. They cook the food in what looks like a brick oven but it has coals and a grate that they cook on. I had the prawns, my daughter had mussels, and my husband had the seafood pasta. It was all delicious. They do speak English which was helpful for us, but nearly everyone does. We enjoyed this dinner very much.

We read mixed reviews on LD but was highly recommended by another restaurant Silk and our group could not have been happier. We had prompt and friendly service - meals were delicious including the scallops and scamp bisque followed by succulent and tender lamb and veal steak. Friends tried the moderm macaroni truffles - squid also very yummy. All in all sitting outside on Terrace very enjoyable. Wine list high quality (but not cheap) - meal price not cheap but definitely reflects the food quality and service. Our groups best meal in Croatia.

We came here after many good opinions from trip advisor. My husband ordered lamb with grilled vegetables and he was satisfied. I ordered seafood risotto and it was just disappointment. I love seafood risotto and ate it hundreds of times but this one was the worst one. It was salty, looked like a soup not risotto and it had almost no seafood. Just few tiny pieces of cocktail shrimps. No mussels, no calamari, no prawns as I expected. It tasted more like beef than seafood. Soup for children was also very salty. But they had very good bread.

Enjoy true Korcula atmosphere with good homemade specialities and best wines from the island and local area.
Great place to dine and enjoy the evening off after a hot day on the beach. Big Terrace with warm hospitality, enjoy the environment. Foods was good with reasonable pricing, would recommend this place for those who stop in Korcula island.

Located on the eight kilometer of the main road from the town of Korčula towards the village of Vela Luka, Konoba Maha is a tavern and a family homestead rolled into one. The interior is done up in traditional Dalmatian style with stone walls, rustic furnishings and delicate lighting. The garden and Terrace area are perfect for an al fresco meal or refreshing drink during the summer.
This place is exquisite!! Go!!
In a very casual outdoor atmosphere with lights twinkling from the trees they serve delicious food. The lamb was a bountiful portion of lamb chops. The veal was a huge portion. Everything was deliciously prepared with entirely unique flavours and side dishes. So good. The service was great and very helpful. It is worth the trip from Korcula, but book ahead.

This was the most expensive meal we ate in Korcula, but worth every Kuna.
The menu was limited, but excelled in quality. I had the tasty vegetarian homemade pasta with truffle sauce and my partner enjoyed his pasta with chicken.
The Deserts were also delicious. I opted for the trio which I'd recommend if you can't decide which of the puddings to have.
I'd suggest booking in advance as it seems to be a popular place to eat.

We were taken here as part of our Sail Croatia cruise and it was a delight for dinner. A wonderful host who greeted us with nice grappa and figs. We had a delicious local dinner and would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone. A highlight of our trip

The best of Dalmatian cooking, made with fresh, local ingredients and love... Just like grandad likes it!
We were part of a larger group that booked Nonno for dinner (we didn't do our TA research and went along with the group choice). Although it is a lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting with wonderful service (the blankets were a nice touch with the cool wind), I would echo the other reviews in that it is a very expensive restaurant (USD$100 per person). Easily the most expensive we ate at in 2 weeks in Croatia (almost double our second highest priced dinner). The food was good (not great), the wine was fairly good (we chose a cheaper bottle of Cab-Sav and it was nice). At the end of it we all agreed we enjoyed the evening and the food, but we likely wouldn't come back if we were back on Korcula.

A place in front of the marine, delicious food and great coctails.
We shared a plate of calamari for lunch as a light bite one afternoon and we're quite disappointed with the food. This was our fourth holiday to Croatia and we love the seafood but this place did it too greasy and it wasn't very enjoyable. Korcula town isn't a cheap place to eat but you'll get better value for money and better quality food elsewhere.
