I revisited the place when I came back home which is 1 hour away from this cafe. Since I learn more about the local culture, I started understanding the beauty of local sculptures in this cafe which reflects the spiritual culture of Bahnar people.
For the first time, I explored the other side of the cafe, and there was a beautiful hidden garden with collections of flowers. I heard that the owner, who is an artist, will renovate the main house in a couple of months. I expect to see the transformation of this cafe on my next visit.

If you are looking for a simple place to grab a delicious meal and have an awesome experience, look no further! We stumbled in here hot and tired and left with a full stomach, refreshed, and with big smiles on our faces!
The place is very simple, nothing fancy. Just a few plastic tables and chairs. No menus, as only one item available here: Nems (Vietnamese spring rolls) of the fresh 'roll-your-own' variety. You are presented with a massive place of super-fresh greens, lettuce, and herbs as well as grilled meat, crispy rice paper, garlic, cucumbers, and AMAZING home-made peanut sauce and chili paste. Roll it all into a sheet of rice paper, slather it in peanut sauce and enjoy!
The owner is super friendly, and even though he spoke no English and our Vietnamese is nearly non-existent we had no problem communicating and had an awesome time doing it. He took time to show us how to properly roll the Nems, and told us not to hold back on the fillings because there was plenty more if needed! He helped us with our Vietnamese pronunciation and his big smile was contagious. He just went out of his way to make sure we had an awesome meal, and left totally satisfied... Even brought us a huge pitcher of ice water with out our asking because he saw we were hot and thirsty.
The icing on the cake: Price for two was an unbelievably reasonable 70,000vnd (about $3.50). Unbeatable value!

Amazing building with the typical local material of bamboo which used widely from cradle to grave in the Vietnamese life, the coffee shop give tourists a good impression about the young generation of Vietnam architects, also a great place to try the famous local strong coffee

Restaurant serving good meat. We had a beef steak, rare, with garlic and soya sauce and a very good roasted chicken. Cold beer. Inexpensive. All locals recommend this place.

This is an exceptional 5 story building built by a Vietnamese man in the wood industry. The woodwork is stunning as you sit in the atrium-like restaurant looking up to the five floors around you, with two glass elevators. The waitresses wear traditional Chinese dresses. The menu is extensive, with a lot of seafood. The servings are generous. The food is good, but not as exceptional as the atmosphere. Dinner for four, with beers, was 1.2 million dong--about $50. If you are looking for an upscale place to eat, this may be the only place in Kontum

Young people and families in abundance. Evening regularly punctuated with cheesy renditions of happy birthday.
Big menu with local take on western dishes. English translation of menu needs serious make over. What on earth is Ostrich Department??? Very little English spoken so bring your apps.
Pretty quick service. probably one of the better restaurants in area.

The pizzas are great, with a variety of options available. The drink menu is extensive, and while it's in Vietnamese the staff was more than happy to answer my questions. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommended!

I Love Kon Tum cafe is tucked away from the street and decorated with whimsical art, plants and water features. It is clearly a favorite among young people and the staff and owner take pride in the place, wearing special T-shirts with the ILoveKonTum logo. We had wonderful fruit drinks, coffee, a killer soup (called stew on the menu), oppla (special fried eggs) and enjoyed hanging out a lot! Must visit while in Kon Tum, especially if you stay in the nice hotel across the street ;-)

Two of us came late in the evening, it's 8pm. People there often take dinner at 6pm. We ordered the famous vegetable roll which is called GOI LA in Vietnamese. It is boiled pork and boiled shrimp, with many kinds of vegetabl. We use the vegetable to make a cone, then put the pork, the shrimp and a very special sauce into the cone and put it all in mouth and swallow. The secret is in the very special sauce, which is made from barmy grain after wine-making, egg, grinded- shrimp. Very interesting experience. And the taste is very good.
