The dive sites surrounding Ko Lanta are considered to be some of Thailand’s finest. An intricate system of reefs, islets, and underwater caves are teeming with vibrant sea life. While you splash in the waves you may catch a glimpse of a Moken (sea gypsy) boat, gliding nomadically through the waters. Cap off your day with mouthwatering seafood, freshly caught and spicy enough to make your tongue tingle.

We are happy to make the 60min round trip to this restaurant every week as its amazing!
The best massaman I have found yet, plus they use wild rice here which is a nice change.
The views are lovely. The staff are super friendly and like to chat.
They are also conscious about their environmental impact and dont use straws or styrofoam and they limit plastic bag use.

Opened since 2011. The shop provide various kind of bread, pastries and cakes. All-day breakfast, sandwiches is available in the shop or take away. Also known as the best coffee served in Ko Lanta. Well-known as the shop to go for birthday cakes and wedding cakes.
Love the atmosphere in Living Room, it’s of course more expensive then the local Thai places but sometimes it’s nice to treat yourself with something special. Love their avocado on toast with poached eggs and salmon and also the home Meade granola. The caramel banan crepe is also very nice.
Shakes and coffee shakes are refreshing in the heat. Food starts from 60-200 baht.
They also have a nice bakery with croissants and other cakes.

We had dinner at The Kitchen as a family with two young daughters. The service is incredibly friendly, and food was delicious. Note that they are a small restaurant and quite busy at dinner time, so a table might not be available right away. We had to wait for one but just for a few minutes. They have high chairs and many families with young kids seem to enjoy the location so we felt very comfortable and at ease.

I found this place on trip advisor and saw that it is so close to our hotel. I was sure we need to visit.
On first day we wanted to eat lunch there but even if it written that they work all day, unfortunately it was closed.
So we came next day on dinner.
Staff is neutral, they had some problems with English.
Place is small and looks rather like a shop not a restaurant.
At the beginning we get some pineapple what was nice, then it was only worse. We were waiting ages for our food.
We ordered chicken wrap and red curry. Red curry was just awful and we didn't manage to eat that. Chicken wrap had a pancake instead of tortilla and was cold inside. So we were very disappointed about the food.
I don't understand all this great comments. And also the prices - according to other places nearby every dish is 40-50 baths more expensive.
So honestly we spend there 5 days and never came back to that place. There is plenty better places around.
Maybe we were unlucky and just came in wrong day but still it was disappointing.

Went here 3 times for breakfast and the start of the day, as we just couldn’t get enough! Interior, atmosphere is just fantastic, hidden-garden, tree-house like design of the space; great, healthy, homemade, very fresh food! AND the owner with her fantastic energy and personality, you can see her in every detail of this place! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED <3

We only called in for coffee and cake (so can not comment on the meals). The freshly made coffee was fine, but the 'deconstructed' banoffee pie a disaster... a glass beaker with a little smashed up biscuit with a small sliced fresh banana and topped with a squirt of aerosol cream. Don't bother trying it for yourself :(

Yang restaurant is open for dinner 18:00-22:00 Closed Tuesdays. Credit cards is not accepted. Reservations are recommended.
Yang Garden deserves all the 5 stars reviews is getting: outstanding food, impeccable service, lovely ambience. I wish we had discovered it at the beginning of our stay.
Both the duck brest and the tuna were scrumptious.
Thumbs up also for their mojito! Not always easy to find a good one in SE Asia!

Seafront dining on our Terrace, serving a mix of thai and international dishes as well as quality breakfasts from 9am. Cozy local bar and proper arrabica espresso coffee. Also home to "the Fat Hippo" boat cruises and on the water dining experience.
Really nice place just by the water, if you don’t mind the wind you can sit at the end of the restaurant with a perfect view over the water.
Really polite and smiling staff, good service! The owner is also a happy fellow not minding striking up a conversation.
The food didn’t take too long and tasted delicious! For dessert we took the brownie and it was heaven on a plate, more than enough for 2 people.
A great place place you have got to try once in Koh Lanta! Didn’t get the chance to eat there twice which would have been nice.

We are newly opened Restaurant in lanta we have a good foods and drink come to try with yourself thank you for your kindness
The restaurant doesn't look like much when you look in, but boy do they deliver!
In my opinion Pumpui has the best thaifood in the island, from starters to main course and desert with fair price.
The drinks are also worth mentioning, large and tasty. Greatest mojito I've ever had.
Ate here three times during two week vacation, left with a full tummy and a satisfied grin everytime.

i must say that i so wanted to love this place! i've often seen Daniel, the owner's husband, down at the end of Klong Khong beach, fishing for the night's specials...
when i got to the restaurant, beautifully situated on a little bluff set back from the road,
the smiles were genuine and i went to a table along the edge, looking forward to a bit
of sunset... maybe i ordered wrong, and should have waited for Daniel's catch,
but i had to be at a friend's place soon; i went with fish cakes (unusual to find)
and a bowl of tom yum noodle soup...
the fish cakes were in themselves quite tasty, and i give bonus points for not being greasy whatosever...
the sauce was underwhelming, just standard chili sauce w/some cucumbers sliced into it (as opposed to what would normally be a vinegar-based dipping sauce,
with a balance between the sweet chili and the vinegar; this had none of the vinegar.)
and now the matter of the dreadful tom yum noodle soup- they came back several minutes after i had ordered ba mee noodles to ask would it be alright if they subbed woon sen noodles- i said ok (our conversations were in Thai, since i do live here)
when it arrived, the noodles were a gloppy, inseparable mass, and the broth was like
nothing tom yum that i have ever tasted, and i don't mean that in a good way, unfortunately!!! i took several spoonfuls and 1 chopstick half full of noodles
(no easy feat since they were so hopelessly stuck together)
before i resorted to everything possible to try to liven it up w/actual flavor,
chili flakes then prik nam pla, hen lime- this made it tasty enough to finish nearly half,
and i got the rest in a takeaway (which i never ended up eating, alas)
i am sure that this place is much better than the unfortunate part of the meal i had, and give them bonus points for the (non greasy!) fish cakes themselves (they should make the sauce an equal combo of the chili sauce & vinegar & cucumber)
their overal cleanliness is of the highest order in every area of the restaurant,
and it is really quite a pleasant space- and i can tell from the fish cakes (as well as overhearing some diners and seeing empty plates being cleared) that there is something special about this place (but please, change the sauce for those nice fish cakes!!!)
