Kittanning (/kɪˈtænɪŋ/ pronounced k-TAN-ing) is a borough and the county seat of Armstrong County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It is situated 44 miles (71 km) northeast of Pittsburgh, along the east bank of the Allegheny River. The name Kithanink means 'on the main river' in the Delaware language, from kit- 'big' + hane 'mountain river' + -ink (suffix used in place names). "The main river" is a Lenape epithet for the Allegheny and Ohio, considered as all one river. The borough and its bridge were used as a setting for several recent films.

A family friendly restaurant with moderate prices and good food. I had the chicken Romano and it was delious as was their spaghetti. Well worth a visit in a beautiful little town along the Allegheny river. Make time to walk along the river. They have a lovely park.

The Hungry Detective stopped by late night...I usually order a banana cone but they were all out...so I went with number 2 best seller...caramel sundae with whipped Vermeer and cherry on top!!! It was over the top good!!! Best ice cream around not so good atmosphere but I think it adds to the ambience!!!
VERDICT: Guilty of serving up the best soft serve around...period.

Falsetti’s Villa presents the relaxed atmosphere of a Roman Courtyard, with pleasant surroundings, good food, music and wine. Whether you come for a meal, a snack, or just to relax with a drink or a bottle of wine, please enjoy your stay. Any restaurant can sell food but the Villa wants to be more than that…. The Villa wants all our guests to be satisfied, to feel that their visit has been worth another trip back, and to want to bring their friends back with them.
Out of the way, no signs directing you to restaurant, just look for the packed parking lot! Huge portions of good Italian dishes, great meatballs. Very friendly service by extremely busy waitresses. Villa doesn't accept reservations on Saturdays so we went early, 4 p.m., and were lucky to get table in bar area. Don't plan to go anywhere after because you will be taking leftover boxes home. Huge pecan ball enough to share.

Are you looking for a sweet treat that will melt faster the grilled meat? Then this is your place. They got ice cream. They have chocolate, vanilla, strawberry. They got blizzards homey! Not the kind that will snow you in... but the kind they can turn upside down and doesn't fall out. Its amazing. If the person working tries to hand it back to you without turning it upside down make them. If not you could be getting a fake blizzard. Word I heard was they are sending them in from other countries. Make sure you get a real one, make em turn it upside down. If it falls out it was fake, if it doesn't you have the real deal.

Daily specials and great breakfasts any time of day. Nice place for Sunday breakfast or just a morning out with the family. Great lunch place too!

Nice selection of draft beer and the pepperoni rolls have become a favorite of my wife and me. The service in the bar area has even a little slow at times but hasn't stopped us from returning.

Myself, husband and 3 children decided to try this place out. First off, when this place was "Mr. O's", whether sitting at the bar or dining room it was very cozy and romantic, well, not any more, the dining room has changed-- allot-tables placed randomly in the middle of the room and very small booths, not romantic, cozy or even appealing--- I know sometimes change is good-but not this time. We ordered Wraps with salads and Chicken Fingers and Fries Basket. Our server was NOT attentive, she brought our salads, but NO silver wear, we waited and waited, and then when she did bring the silver ware, she only gave us 4 sets- and there were 5 of us! And she said she would be right back with the oil and vinegar, but she never brought it! Our food overall was good, but the service was not. Don't know if we will try this place again.

Next to Dizzy Lizzie's (located only a few blocks away), this is my second favorite place in Kittanning for comfort food. The location is tucked away on a side street and can be easy to miss.
I've eaten here at least a dozen times, frequently at Sunday brunch. They usually have a special posted on the wall and that's usually very good, and is a real special in that it knocks a dollar or more off the regular price.
The restaurant frequently fills up on Sunday afternoons so go early to be sure you get a table.
When you get the menu, you might not believe your eyes. It's eight or ten pages. And these aren't the ten pages of photographs you might see on a Denny's menu, the pages are filled with food choices. You can get almost any type of diner food you might imagine, and other choices as well. Wings? Check. Hamburger? Check. Hot Roast Beef? Check. Spaghetti? Check. Steak? Check. Breakfast? Check. You name it, they've got it.
The wait staff are generally good, but we've had experiences where they are so busy that we've waited a long time for food or refills, the table has piled up with many stacked dishes, or the food has come out piecemeal over the space of 30 minutes. One caveat here, if you want wings, it's important to order them as soon as you sit down. They take longer than anything else and the menu even requests that you order them first.
There is also a small salad bar with soup, and a single trip comes with some of the food choices, or is a low cost add-on.
This is a terrific "comfort food" restaurant in Kittanning, and a good choice if you want "mom and pop" diner style food, or anything that tastes home cooked.

Oh the buns!!!! Soft and perfect! Then add the perfect combinations of meats and cheeses and you get a Miller's Hoagie. I have been enjoying these famous Hoagies for over 45 years!!!! It is one place you have to stop for lunch anytime you drive through Armstrong County in PA

Recently opened here but been to other locations. Good food at pretty reasonable prices considering portion sizes. Crab cakes and lobster Mac and cheese were good as well as pretzels. Also the honey chicken was okay. A bit too sweet for me but veggies are good in it. Beer is reasonable too.
