Besides having THE BEST VIEW of the Batur Caldera, Lakeview Restaurant is also the original Hotel & Restaurant in Kintamani. We are essentially located on the eastern side of Penelokan Village, right next to the Kedisan Forest. It is also home to the best food, cocktails and service you will find in the Area
With a nice view .. friendly and accomodating staff
The buffet selection is the best lot of choices better to try yourself. Ala carte food is amazing taste as well. The ambiance and cleanliness makes you stay more while enjoying their signature cocktails and some drinks to choice from.
Definitely will come back..
thank you

We are small restaurant with friendly service, an a la carte menu (local Indonesian food) such as grilled fish fresh from Lake Batur, beautiful views of Mount Batur, Mount Abang, Mount Agung and Lake Batur.
Trying to avoid the massively overpriced huge tourist buffet restaurants, we wandered to Warung Baling Baling, attracted mainly by the amazing view from the crater rim, and the nice outdoor Terrace where you could sit in hot hot sun. The staff were very friendly and they keep the very annoying sales touts out of the restaurant, about the only place you can escape them. The restaurant furnishings are quite run down, I sat on the seat and it immediately collapsed and broke into a few pieces, placing me on the floor! The table was also quite broken and unstable. However on the recommendation of the waitress we ordered the lake fish with a very spicy sambal sauce and it was utterly delicious (you have to like chilli flavour). The Bintang beers were also icy cold. For 2 of us, 2x whole fish with rice and 2x beers was US$12 so reasonable price with such an amazing view.

My worst Bali restaurant experience. I've visited Danu three times in two days - not my choice - as a part of local trips. The buffet was worse that an average "all you can eat" in a crappy Australia hotel. Very few choices, almost cold food and basically tasteless. The following day we dropped in for a 3am coffee before the Mouth Batur trek. It boggles the mind how it's possible to serve coffee that tastes so poor when one has a restaurant in Bali - they make good coffee in Bali you know.. Visited the restaurant for lunch later the same day. This time we were given a tasting plate which again consisted of basically cold and tasteless food.
The staff were unsmiling and pretty much useless. Usually a nice smile can mask general incompetence but there was so much clueless-ness in that place and so few smiles that nothing could save this experience for me.
It's rather sad to think that there are no alternatives to this dire place. Such a pity that the stunning views are wasted by this poor excuse for a restaurant.

Its a floating restaurant on a lake. The food is surprisingly low priced yet fresh and yummy. The set up is pleasing and the view itself is worth paying for . Flies are a bit of a nuisance but good food and excellent view more than makes up for it

Beautiful view from the dinning area. Stopped to have a juice and the bill was 50,000...61,000 after tax and service. A bit expensive!!!
Gave the waitress 100,000 she brought me 19,000 In change. So she stole my money...which I would have left as a tip anyhow.
Bad karma for her and the Restaraunt, she has my sympathy.

We stayed at Villa Tejakula for 3 nights so having this great restaurant on our doorstep was a huge bonus! We ate all our meals here in a beautiful beachside location with a lovely sea breeze amongst manicured Gardens. All meals were of a very high standard, they were freshly prepared from local ingredients, they were very tasty and reasonably priced. The Staff were so friendly and lovely. We loved dining here and highly recommend this fantastic restaurant!

We only got to visit here for morning tea as part of our Bintang bike tour, but we had delicious banana fritters, and an icy cold watermelon juice. The view is to die for though. I would love to return next visit to Bali and come for a leisurely lunch. Great service and food, clean toilets.

*vegan Restaurant *luwak Coffee *organic Plantation *cooking Class
This beautiful organic coffee plantation and vegan restaurant is located about 30 minutes outside Ubud, 10 minutes past the rice terraces. It's outer skirts location makes for a magical experience. The peace and quiet you get here is unlike anything you'll get amidst the tourist craziness in town. The tea and coffee tasting is so yummy and they allow you to choose sugar or honey free options, which is important to many Bali travellers. The vegan food is absolutely incredible and honestly the best vegan Indonesian food I've had in Bali. The chef even came out to meet me and ensure everything was perfect. Please go a little out of the way to find this hidden BEAUTY!!

There are beautiful views of Mount Batur from this restaurant. They serve nothing but dishes using organic ingredients. I ordered an indonesian dish with tempe, peanuts, chicken, and veggies. The dish came with a small cup serving of brown and red rice which was very healthy. My girlfriends and I ordered fresh coconut juice and that was good. Their toilet was very clean (not even smelly) but that was most likely because we were the only ones at the restaurant (we came in at 11:45 am to have lunch).
