Kingsland Coffee located adjacent to the lobby of the historic Antlers Inn. Come get a cup of joe, a pastry, homemade quiche, or just sit, relax and absorb the quaint atmosphere.
They used to be on thevmain drag in Kingsland, but they shifted to the hotel the purchased--the best B&B in Kingdland....old school buildings refurbished that really make you nostalgic for the past. Again...the people make this place, but the coffee and pastries, soup and quiche, are great. Love 'em!

Last time we were there I told my wife it would be the last time we were there.
They got our orders wrong and forgot to bring the fried jalapenos. And the food quality was below average.
This visit was just the opposite.
They have some new servers. Our drinks, chips and salsa were refreshed without asking for the first time ever. The food was perfect. We had cheese enchiladas and tacos. The fried jalapenos are worth the trip to Kingsland. it's 35 miles for us.
Glad to seee things have improved. Their food is special when it's right.

Usually good food, steak fingers are always awesome! Service was young with manners that befit that group, but what are talking gonna do these days. Drive through and get steak fingers with cream gravy, that's what!

We stopped by M&M Doughnuts on our way out of town. The Doughnuts were fresh and delicious. The pigs in a blanket were even better! They had a great flavor and the flaky pastry around it was a great touch.

Located at The Antlers Hotel, this Queen Anne-styled home turned restaurant, is a staple for the Hill Country of Texas. Southern fine dining served in the notorious house made famous by the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre film.
Enjoyed a nice meal with friends at this restaurant which is a converted historic house. Unfortunately, the evening we went was alcohol free since they were renovating the bar. Nonetheless, the menu was very complete and the food was good. I had the seared tuna, my wife tried a ribeye steak, and our friends enjoyed fried shrimp. The steak was a little chewy, but overall the meals were well prepared and nicely presented.

The bakery items we purchased to go were outstanding! Not a huge selection, but what they had was excellent. Sat down for breakfast. Just your standard fair -- nothing exceptional. Would drop in when in the area just for the sweets!!!

The best "Hole in the wall" barbecue in Texas. Located in Kingsland, TX just a shirt drive from Marbles Falls and not far from Austin. Friendly atmosphere and short lines. Tell em Spyke sent ya.

But why not? Great food, reasonable prices, including wine. In spite of being "short handed" at times, they always rise to the challenge and deliver excellent service. Our favorite place to find in Kingsland.

We really love this restaurant,so much so,that we have eaten here the last 2 nights. Food is always excellent, even the service,in spite of the fact that there was only one waitress to greet, serve, and thank diners. They have to wake up to the fact that weekends in Kingsland are very busy during the summer.

The fajitas are great with delicious flavor and a very generous portion. We usually order the combination of chicken and beef. Their flour tortillas seem very fresh. It is a BYOB restaurant so that represents a huge savings if you like wine as we do.
