We had ordered many menus and the taste were good. The passion fruit juice is the restaurant's outstanding product. Also, Rai Chan Raem is the resort too. This resort was very wide, with many houses to be chosen. The flowers at the parking lot were very beautiful.

After Reading all the reviews and my Thai wife telling me we must visit this coffee shop, was disappointed as ordinary coffee shop and no cakes.
Have to mention that the decor was very nice including a very old shell oil pump and a American school bus.
But a coffee shop without cakes is a half baked place- so could not figure out how this place has received such good reviews. The lady at behind the counter was also pretty ordinary and indifferent.
Recommend driving a bit further and going to the story cup coffee place - excellent and very good cakes.

This is an awesome place up in the Mountains of Phetchabun. It is situated above Wat Pha Sorn Kaew where there is a must see temple. The mountain views are amazing. This is one of the best coffee shops I have been to. It’s 950m above sea level.
The last time I was in Thailand this place was packed and I didn’t get a chance to try it. But this time I was lucky. It was busy but not extremely.
The scene is amazing and there are a lot of nice places to take pictures. If you are lucky you can get picture with the fog in the background with the mountain.there is a huge place for kids to run about. You can have your meal or drink while admiring the views around.
The food surprised me. I wasn’t expecting it to be great, it was amazing. They have this technology where when you place an order they give you this round thing with a number. You go and sit wherever you choose and once your food is ready this round thing beeps and lights and you can go collect it.
I ordered the wings, spaghetti bolognese, and some really nice desserts. The food was amazing and the service was alright. There are toilets facilities to use.
Overall amazing and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the temple or Khao Kho to stop and enjoy a coffee here. You won’t regret it. I would Definitely come back here if I get the chance to come back to Thailand

We ate here both evenings we were in Khao Kho because we enjoyed the first time so much. The food was fresh and well cooked - the cook even came out to talk to us about how we wanted one dish cooked.
There's a fantastic view over the valley at sunset.
I suggest long pants/trousers (or mosquito repellent) for evenings in the wet season as they have a garden in front of the eating area and there are of course a few insects.

I have to visit this place every time i am in Khao Kho. Suggest menus are Deep fried Shitake with soy sauce (Hed Hom Pad See Eew), Stir-fried deer with either oyster sauce or pepper (Kwang pad nam man hoy or Kwang pad prik thai dam). The restaurant is opporsite Kasikorn Bank.

Rai Song Rao is both a restaurant and resort. Most people visited this place mainly because of their food. We have a food app called "Wong Nai" which is like Yelp, but in Thai. This restaurant is rated no.1 in the area. A selection of food, fusion style would best describe them. For example, grilled salmon in Thai sauce and smoked ham with sweet basil. Would recommend for dinner as the view of the hills is nice too. May be crowded during high season.
American style Restaurant with fresh home made food and cabin home stay with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room.

Those who are driving along Highway 12 must be familiar with the large coffee shop with lots of decorations and gimmicks both interior and exterior. You know what I mean which coffee shop. But IMHO, that place serves not-so-good coffee with long waiting line. This Bud Cafe is just another story. It serves MUCH better coffee. From inside you'll see Exhibitions on Mhong hill tribe. In the backyard you'll be surprised with large open space of garden, camping areas, extra-clean toilets, and Mhong's house (on display but it looks so authentic). The inorganic farm is just beyond the camping area. The farm overlooks a breathtaking scenic views of Khao Kho. You can reach Bud cafe 2 km ahead of that aforementioned place when you are driving from Wang Thong.
