Stopped in on a whim. The young man behind the counter was friendly and eager to serve. I was treated with respect and kindness which is often lacking these days! Thank you! The muffin and cookie that my husband and I got were fresh and tasty. I will come back!

This is located next to the Kenton Wal-Mart. It is a very clean restaurant. Well kept with good decor. They have Pepsi products. The chips and salsa left a little to be desired. The salsa was very runny. No body at all. That was the only bad thing about the food. The enchilada sauce had a great flavor. I really liked their guacamole. Rice had a few veggies in it. Their beans had a good flavor. We will definitely go back again.

This place has limited hours of operation but is so worth the visit. It is new to our town but, I have been twice and the food is absolutely unique and very flavorful/delicious. They use all free ingredients and local when possible. The deserts are always good too!

The menu has a nice variety. There is a bar area which serves drinks. Soup and salad bar are good, the vegetable soup is very good. Steaks, sandwiches, stir fry, it has about anything you want. Breakfast is now served all day long as well.
Good home cooking style of food.

The waitress was not pleasant at all and we had very poor service. The salad bar was dirty and unfilled and the pizza had almost no cheese at all. This was our first visit this year and I doubt we will go back.

En Lai is tucked away in a shopping strip mall but it is well worth a visit. They offer delivery with a $10 minimum order and do a lot of takeout business. They also offer sit down service at several tables. We had literally driven all over the county during the day and chose to take a table. My wife is limited to gluten free fare but she had plenty to choose from and went with combination 11, shrimp with Chinese vegetables. My son loves ribs so chose the one right above that on the menu at combination plate 10, the BarBQ spare ribs. I took a while to look over the extensive and ambitious menu before deciding on the number 106, the House Special Chow Mei Fun, which took several minutes longer than the other orders to prepare but was worth waiting for. I am not a real patient person so that is high praise from me. There are pictures of many (but not all) of the entries above the counter to help you decide. One word of caution- En Lai does not serve water in drinking glasses. If you order water, you get bottled water. That cost me three dollars extra but our total tab was still just $30. Also, at least for sit down service, you do not get fortune cookies with the bill like almost every other Chinese joint. They cost fifty cents extra. Again, I can live with that because prices are low and portions are very generous. My wife can't eat them anyway.

Most of my reviews are for attractions, not restaurants, because my wife has celiac disease (no gluten) which makes it difficult to find restaurant dishes that don't make her sick. The Royal Buffet has no MSG and plenty of things that are not breaded or fried so I don't wind up paying a buffet fee just for her to nibble on a salad. I disagree with the reviewer from Mount Vernon, as there were only two other couples in the restaurant when we arrived tonight and the servers kept bringing out fresh pans. We have never gone hungry or seen items that have been left out too long. I went to a holiday buffet at a local place and all that changed from the regular buffet was that the servers wore Santa hats, so I think that an unchanging menu is also an unfair criticism. Again, it is one of the few places around our teens and I can fill up and my wife can safely enjoy as well. I believe the food is above average. Go eat, enjoy, and judge for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
