This is a small but quaint restaurant but the menu and quality of food is amazing. We chose to appetizers and small dishes as well as one entree - it gave us the opportunity to try a little of everything. The clam chowder was delicious. The mussels are fabulous. The Locally-foraged maitake and chicken of the woods mushrooms are a must!!!!! The scallops were perfectly cooked and the vanilla bean beurre blanc made it a heavenly dish. We were not disappointed with our entree - halibut. I would go back if I return to Kent.

Oh my word. I happened to stumble across this place last weekend on a day trip and tipped in for a takeaway cup of tea. I am so glad I did because the range of chocolates are to die for and days later I am still salivating everytime I think of their chocolate salty caramels. Unbelievably delicious. The two girls working behind the counter were super friendly and helpful. Such a nice experience for this tourist from Ireland!
We loved stumbling onto this adorable coffee house. Coffee selection was vast, excellent, and very reasonably priced. Service was cheerful. There was a wide selection of pastries. Chocolate products were extremely overpriced in my opinion and we did not purchase any - and thus my 3 circle rating. The parking is a bit tricky to reach. I definitely recommend it for an enjoyable coffee break.

I can not understand why this place is so successful! We have had so many bad experiences. We wanted to like it, so we kept trying. The service is lack luster, the drinks are not good, several times the food was wrong, waitress/waiter disappeared, etc. And the last time we complained, the owner came to our table and was rude and condescending. We will NEVER go back.

The Hopkins Inn is always consistently delicious. Couples, family, get togethers. The view on the river is breathtaking & on a good weather day makes the visit that more beautiful. The Wiener schnitzel is exceptional each time (ask for extra gravy) the spinach salad is the worlds best with their own dressing & please do yourself a favor & pay extra for the garlic bread. Add a martini or one of their wines and your afternoon is picture perfect.

It may not be gorgeous inside, but it is delicious! Love it all--ribs, pulled pork, chicken, brisket etc. Great for take out, although there are some tables available if you want to eat there. The best is watching Warren & his staff plate your order right in front of you!
Worth the trip.

Loved the anviance and the owner makes it a point to meet and chat with the customers. We had dinner here on a Saturday evening and there was live music, which added to the pleasant evening. The clam appetizers were delicious. However our entree was "eh". We both ordered the swordfish from the specials menu and although it was passable, it certainly wasn't the best I've ever had. Next time we go, and there definitely will be a next time, I'll make sure to order something different.

Highly recommended by more than one couple. Also recommended by the Inn we stayed at. We were very disappointed.
Dry pork wrapped in rubbery bacon with some stove top stuffing doesn't make the grade in my book. Creaky old chairs in a dark room with a drunken woman accosting us about our taste in jazz music while we were trying to eat? Very uncomfortable and will never return. Lucianos in New Preston was MUCH better for around the same $$.

Hot dogs and grilled cheese available.
We had lunched at greasy GB's and my wife's stomach was feeling queezy. She
wanted some ice cream to settle her stomach. I had a scoop of espresso cookie
and she had mint chocolate chip. WOW! This ice cream was delicious and even provided the relief she was looking for. What else can you a ask for?

If you are having trouble locating this place, they advertise as Freshco Twenty Two. Family owned and operated by friendly, polite people. Daily lunch specials are excellent. I had a pastrami reuben and a cup of mushroom barley soup for $11 and it came with a small fountain drink. Homemade mushroom barley soup was outstanding, as was my sandwich. The reuben came with a side of pasta salad. There isn't a lot of great food along this stretch of Route 22, but I recommend this deli / pizzeria highly. Good food at a modest price.

I went to dinner on May 14, 2017. I most certainly enjoy coming to Bulls Bridge for an outstanding meal. It is one place that if I take someone out to dinner, this is the place. The ambiance's excellent, which makes for a very relaxing meal and time with whomever accompanies me. I chose lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection, with baked potato and mixed veg. I have other venues, and all were just as outstanding and there is a wide variety. They have a simply outstanding salad bar to chose from, but be careful as you could fill up before the meal. The service was superior, with good drinks. Service was pleasant and you are always made to feel welcome and insure you receive the highest quality. This is one place I always recommend to folks for an enjoyable time and relaxing time.
